Absolutely the best hospital and care I've ever had each time I'm ever in the hospital and rhat goes for out of atste care as well! I've been to many hospitals with my health concerns over the decade, and this staff; care, are knowledgeable, and go above and beyond for patients in this Hospital. I recently had an emergency, and every other day I was in a hospital for pain. 4 to be exact. I finally went to to Good Samaritan for my 5th ER visit in 2 weeks, and they solved the problem with love! 10 stars if I could.

?DO NOT GIVE BIRTH AT THIS HOSPITAL ?
I gave birth here a few months ago. Was denied an epidural multiple times without any explanation on why I wasn't allowed to have pain relief! I was preeclamptic and instead of sending me directly to the OR for a DNC after delivery, he sat there for 10 minutes yanking at my umbilical while I had a severe hemorrhage. Mothers have no help with their babies in this hospital, you are expected to do it all. I was awake for 5 days straight as I almost died and also didn't have anyone to stay with me. I will forever be scarred by this experience. The doctor who delivered me didn't even feel like talking to me after everything I never saw him again. I feel absolutely violated and treated like my mental health was worth nothing.
Edit: the fact that the hospital is responding to other one star reviews but not mine has been noted.

RUN! If you have a chronic illness as both of my parent's do, DO NOT GO TO THE ER OR HOSPITAL! Both my parent's were sent back home with " fliud" in they're lungs from the ER.
My dad recently was admitted to ICU for heart failure, he was diagnosed with heart failure COPD 4 yrs ago...he has a history of colon, lung and kidney cancer. All of this is in his medical history! He's been to the ER multiple times, and they should have been aware of this!
He was discharged after being in the hospital for only 7 days. He was back in the ER for severe bloody nose they stuck a piece of gauze up his one of his nostrils so he was unable to get the proper oxygen through through his nose. They gave him the wrong mask he was sent home with the wrong mask so he was getting improper oxygen his oxygen level was low he ended up passing out at his home hitting his head and back at the ER I refused to take him back to Good Samaritan so I asked the paramedics to take him to North Suburban and believe this they also recommended to take my dad to North Suburban because they also heard rumors that Good Samaritan was not a good Hospital. He is now at North Suburban Hospital in Thornton it's 5 minutes from his home it's convenient and he's getting very good care here it's an older hospital I don't care but he's getting proper treatment and he's getting better treatment at this Hospital with experience doctors and nurses and personnel. I am never taken both my parents or in loved one to Good Samaritan ever again I will probably visit somebody who I know that is staying there but I will never set foot in that place ever again they should never be diagnosing any terminally ill person with no experience if they're training they should have a shadow person next to them making sure that they're making the proper diagnosis and giving post-op instructions accordingly. Good bye Rock Creek Good Samaritan...Hello North Suburban Hospital. I'm very pleased with the care he is receiving.

High stress delivery with premie. The staff in the maternity/neonatal area couldn’t have been kinder. Informed every day of how his care was going. Baby & parents were well taken care of.

During my mother's recent hospital visit, we were warmly welcomed by Alyssa, (Nurse) who provided my mother with comfort and a down-to-earth demeanor. My mother has not stopped talking about Alyssa and how wonderful she was. We then met Melissa (Nurse), whose short interaction was both delightful and sweet, as well as very professional in her assistance. Finally, Danion took my mother for her CCTA procedure and was with her every step of the way. When my mother became nervous due to the CCTA test, Danion comforted her and was an angel in being there for her, ensuring her everything would be alright.
Ultimately, this experience made me feel at ease knowing my sensitive mother was in good hands. This hospital has set the standard for care with staff who are truly angels sent from above. I THANK YOU ALL.

Me and my mom were in a severe car accident. I couldn’t put pressure on my legs. They did CT and X-ray but told me they don’t do MRIs as they did one on the guy next to me had one done. They kept trying to push me and my mom out of the hospital and didn’t prescribe any pain medications or anti-nausea. I decided to go home because no one was helping me anyways and I was sick of hearing them wanting me to leave as I am very unwell.

My surgeon was great, nicest person here. The hospital its self wasn’t the best experience. I had routine surgery and during that, my bladder was poked through twice. I did tell the nurse that something didn’t feel right and I couldn’t urinate. She gave me fentanyl and sent me home. Came back through emergency next day, I had blood and urine in my abdomen and they had to remove the extra fluid and put a catheter in. The catheter was not place correctly by the nurses in the emergency room. I went 4 more hours with my abdomen filling with more blood and urine. Ended up getting a second surgery for my bladder and I’m left with a HUGE 2 1/2 inch scar on top of my other surgery scars. I’ve contacted the hospital to help me with the bill because I feel as if I’ve been through enough with this hospital and I don’t think I should be liable to pay that. They sent me a letter saying they are sorry and regret what they’ve done to me but expect full payment. This is not only extremely difficult for me but it’s worse when they are treating me like I’ve done something wrong. I would evaluate your choices first before coming to this hospital.

The medical side was good but billing is a nightmare go somewhere else. I have 2 insurances and I have to be the middle man to try and fix their mistake. Horrible medical coding.

I will never go to this hospital again they killed my husband 2 years ago .I left him Saturday night he was fine I arrive Sunday morning to see him I am told he was being very abusive toward the nurses and doctors and then I walk in his room to find the nurses holding him down to give him his medicine and he was also bleeding from his mouth .Then the doctor comes in tells me he will give him something to calm him down after the gave him that medicine he passed away instantly so I know for a fact that they gave him a medicine to shut down his organs.I would not recommend this hospital to anyone

My son was taken to Good Samaritan recently and had a painful hip dislocation from a dirt bike accident! I cannot tell you how wonderful kind and helpful all the nurses were and especially Dr. KARBER and Eric N, they fixed him and were amazing people to us! ❤thank you so much! Dawn Nelson

The first time I went to Good Samaritan in February I was treated kindly and quickly I ended up being admitted and having my gallbladder removed, I had recently moved to the area & decided Good Samaritan would be my choice of hospitals for emergencies. Fast forward to June I landed back in the the er with CHS (I hadn’t held fluids or food down for nearly 2 weeks at this point), the PA was Dillon Raider who over all dismissed all of my symptoms & said “I can give you 2 liters of fluids, and some anti nausea medicine to which I agreed. The nurse started the fluids & administered meds about 20 minutes later Dillon opens my room door as I am clinching my stomach in pain & says “oh you’re still here” to which I didn’t know what to say I thought he was joking, but he was very serious. He then asked how I was doing & I told him I was in horrible pain, to which he said I’ll get something ordered for the pain. About 20 min goes by and the nurse comes back in with Tylenol, I was frustrated but in too much pain to argue. Another 15 min go by and the nurse comes back and says “okay let’s get your out of here” to which I respond “I haven’t even finished one back of fluids or had a UA completed (my urine sample was still sitting on the counter) I tried explaining that my GI doctor told me to come to the er to receive the fluids & now I was being sent out with out even finishing them after waiting nearly 3 hours in the waiting room. I left there feeling worse then when I arrived. I will never go back to this ER.

Good Samaritan refused to do a CT scan and MRI on my wife that had visible stroke symptoms. All they did was draw blood, X-ray and ran an IV. They then discharged her and “PA Dillon Jay Raider” stated he was 110% sure she was not having any sort of emergency (Stroke).. We then went to another emergency in Boulder where they did both MRI and CT scans almost immediately. It came back that she did in fact have a stroke. For Good Samaritan to say with confidence she wasn’t having a stroke without the proper testing is beyond absurd and very scary for future patients.

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I recently visited their Emergency Room and if possible avoid going here. I was having every stroke symptom you can think of and “ PA Dillon Jay Reider” not only reassured myself, my husband, and my mom that he specializes in emergencies and he was 110% sure that I was not having any kind of emergency let alone a stroke. Not only was I discharged with visible stroke symptoms, I was refused treatment and care. I then went to Boulder Community Health Hospital where they immediately did a stroke alert based on visible symptoms alone. I did in fact have a stroke which was found after BCH did all the appropriate testing and which “PA Dillon Jay Reider” refused to do. This is very discouraging for future patients and emergencies with obvious symptoms just to be overlooked. Please Avoid coming here.
