Alta Convenience is located in La Jara, CO, along a busy highway of locals and travelers. The Conoco gas station at this Alta is frequently busy.If only all the buttons at the self-serve pumps worked, but half of them have been mashed by all the beligerent paasersby.As of 10/9/2023, regular gas was approximately $3.80 while diesel was $4.40. It's a decent place to stop for ice, firewood, beer, etc.Traffic can be heavy, so be careful leaving.

Absolutely terrible customer service!!!!The manager and workers are constantly confronted about vanilla creamer.The coffee station has been out in a regular basis every since I lived here. If you ask for some or if they can refill it so you can have some they get very mad. It's your job .....so what happened now is they haven't had any in 3 weeks at all the manager removed it from the creamer vending machine and has said everyday that I ask for 3 weeks she doesn't know when they will have more.They do things that are last and frustrating to everyday folks in this little town and it's ridiculous.She wears a face mask but there has never been paper towels in the restroom for me to dry my hands and grab the door handle with which also means employees don't have a way to wash hands and grab the door cleanly..... The women with the mask on being.rude and doing a bad job in purpose your not fooling anyone. Vanilla creamer isn't a thing you should be lost about or not know how it when to get your clearly harassing your own customers through your excuses and lies.She replaced vanilla with hazelnut and it's just no hope of understanding about when it may return.good job America!

I moved to conejos in 1990 i have seen store managers come and go and in all those years never as store 6001 been as clean and well taken care of as it is now, when store manger position became available dana wanted it so bad and it shows that its not just another promotion to her she take great pride in her store and employees she is greatly love and respected by her staff

I was unaware that a power outage was an excuse to leave your job, but there was no attendant at this gas station when we arrived at around 4pm. We called the number on the door and contacted the clerk, who was surprisingly rude when told there was a whole parking lot of people waiting for gas, and even over 30 minutes after power was restored, during business hours, on a high travel holiday weekend the doors were still locked.If you can take your business anywhere else, I highly recommend you do.

On a road with few gas stations, this was a rare option with bathrooms. Bathrooms were available for free, and while not disgusting, could have definitely been cleaner. The bathroom was appreciated.

Poorly maintained! Pumps often out of order, almost never receipt paper in them, HUGE holes at edge of concrete pad at diesel pumps for months now. At the outrageous prices the least they could do is fix some stuff. Truly despise the greed of this entire corporation.
