The hours are unfortunate but that's what happens when you don't have enough staff. Otherwise its fine for a small town post office. They get two stars only because they need an accessible door button. Federal buildings should be ADA compliant.

Worst post office I have ever dealt with. If there was a zero star option I would select it. Renee Scholfield the postmaster is very rude and lazy. She refuses to do her job properly and gets irritated if the services you ask for make her do more work. The wrong mail is constantly delivered especially with names not even related to mine. It's like they just shove whatever mail is in their hand in your box without looking.
She doesn't know that destruction of a mailbox is a federal crime and she laughs about it with a smirk on her face. She will argue with you and tell you stealing mail is a federal crime, but destruction of a mailbox is not. She never told me who to call or how to report the destruction of my mailbox until four months after the incident. How was she promoted to postmaster if she doesn't know the basics and is super lazy.
I also asked nicely if I could put a mailbox on my side of the road after it was deliberately destroyed, since I have a disability and fear falling on the busy county road getting my mail. She told me I could not do that and never tried to inform me of the hardship program the post office provides under Code Federal Regulation 39 (CFR) 255.7. It's sad that I would have never known about the hardship program if i didn't do the research myself. She will also discourage you from reporting this federal crime and pressing charges. She specifically told me "I dont understand why you would press charges on a federal mailbox destruction." I thought government/federal employees were supposed to help the public and inform them of certain programs they can benifit from. After months of getting excuses on why she couldn't honor my hardship she finally allowed it.
The Kersey post office also discriminates against people with disabilities and they refuse to install disability buttons on the doors under Code Federal Regulation 39 (CFR) 255.8 (42 USC 4151) or 519.41 under the post office admistrative support manual. She will tell you that the post office does not get federal funds and they are independent so they don't have to follow the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968. Renee Scholfield is full of excuses and I truly believe she's letting her ego get in the way instead of doing her job properly. Kersey has a lot of elderly people who use walkers and wheelchairs and they are forced to struggle to be independt trying to use this federal facility to conduct their business.
This post office is a joke with lazy non compos mentis employees who are in dereliction of duty.
Renee Scholfield needs to be fired because she has gotten away with being rude for way to long. This is a perfect example that government employees don't fear any repercussions because this is evident with her promotion to postmaster.

We love our post office and the people that work there. Renee is always helpful and will go above and beyond for the post office and it's customers. Being short staffed makes long hours and Renee still smiles and helps you out the best she can. Best post office I have ever used.

Worst post office I've ever been in. Renee is very rude and lazy. She is the postmaster and is unprofessional about her job. She does not know how to communicate properly and tries to treat you like a kid and tell you it's her way or the highway. I believe she needs to be fired. Rachel was friendly and helpful with her customer service. They also give me the wrong mail In my box.

I had a wonderful time here! This was the only post office with a passport appointment available ASAP. I’m from Denver and while the drive was long, it was worth it. I’m so grateful to have met Renee and a few of the other nice ladies who work here. They were so kind, helpful, and fast! Thanks again!!

Terrible service, Renee is super rude. They always put the wrong mail in our box. They are very lazy and do not do their job correctly, and act like it is all your fault. Something needs to be done with this place, it is not ran correctly. Why have us fill out the cards with all of our information when you don't even follow it?

I think this post office does a great job. Mail might be a little slow but they are conscientious about getting to many folks far and wide

Doesn't deserve one star. The heavy lady is rude, if you make her work. In her voice you can hear the irritation if your mail requires a little extra work. Then instead of being quite about it she talks so loud and makes sure everyone hears her chew you out. This is a sorriest post office I've even been in. If you live in town you have too have a post office box but if you live out in the country your mail is delivered. That's most likely cause they are to lazy to want to work. I'll go all the way to Greeley from now on if I have to mail a package. Sorry service, rude people not for me. I went to Greeley to mail my letter. I took 2 different envelopes grin the lobby and asked which one I needed to mail the envelope she looked at me and said it can go just like this. I told her about my experience at Kersey Post office. She said we are mailing it just like this... ATTENTION: Kersey post office learn to do your job and not brush it off.

Our mail has been sent back to the sender due to our house number not existing. Funny how it's existed for 20 years and we just recently started having problems. Over the holiday season I had multiple boxes that didn't fit in our mailbox so they we're crammed into an area they didn't fit into and the packaging was ruined. Today I check our mail and I had not one, but two envelopes that were clearly W2s in my mailbox that were not mine. That's some pretty serious stuff to just mix up. Not sure why they are having problems lately but they need to get it together.

Most the people that work there are considerate to customers. Over all service worse Post Office I have ever had to deal with. Way to much mail get lost or damaged coming it or out of the Kersey office. The manager there is one of the rudest people when it comes to getting help with a problem.
