Great people! I'm working out of town and they got me in fast to get some stitches out of my pup. Normally he's a pain and has to be muzzled but he was relaxed (ish) and didn't move! He let the vet do what he had to do! I would 100% recommend

We have had 2 of our Dobermans ears cropped with Dr. Powell, and have been thrilled with the results. The team is caring and kind. Dr. Powell was patient while I wavered back and forth about the perfect cut. I have recommended Powell for years and will continue to do so!

My dog Gia was in need of emergency surgery a few years back and Powell vet service was the closest vet at the time. I was at work when it happened so my wife had to take her in. It was only after I got home my wife told me how rude and unprofessional Dr. Powell was. Explaining how he showed no sympathy for the situation and instead seemed more annoyed that he had to perform the surgery. The next day when I went to pick her up the first thing he did was complain to me about how my dog cried all night after waking up. Well of course she did, she woke up in and unfamiliar place with no one around. I appreciate him doing the surgery but I would never take another one of my animals to him again. Just make the trip and take you pets to people that actually care.

I bring in my dog once a month to get an allergy shot. Which usually works wonders but this time around it didn’t seem to work at all. I brought my pup in last week to get her monthly shot . The Dr and I decided to move her up in doses. But over the weekend I notice that my dog is still very itchy. I called Monday and spoke with Jamie first and told her I don’t think the shot is working is that normal for it to just stop working she stated that “it was not normal and she will talk to the Dr and give me a call back in a couple hours.” Never heard anything back so I called back on Wednesday and spoke with Morgan who told me the same thing as but this time she would put a sticky note on her computer so she doesn’t forget. It is now the weekend and I have still not gotten an answer. I went from pay $60 for an allergy shot that worked well for my dog to now pay $100 for a shot that doesn’t even work and can’t get help on what next steps would be to help my dog with her allergies. I have called three times and I always get the same answer. The communication is just very poor.

We take our Schnauzer and Morkie to Dr. Powell. No, Dr. Powell is not a social bug. He is knowledgeable, pretty quiet, but very focused, most likely because his office is busy, and his time is dedicated to focusing on the task at hand. I used to go to Sheepdraw. However, trying to get my dog appointments there was a long time waiting. It was ridiculous, having to wait at least 2-4 weeks, but never within a week. So a friend recommended Dr. Powell. His prices were much better, but unfortunately, they have increased. So, as for now, that would be my only complaint. On a positive note, when I have an urgent matter or concern, the girls Megan and Jaime always get me in ALOT sooner than Sheepdraw could. Usually within that day or the following day. They are very patient and attentive. If you want Dr. Powell to be more sociable, you just got to probe him a little more. He can be amusing at times, giving me funny (not offensive) looks. Maybe because I can be pretty insistent or too forward. But all in all, I am glad I was recommended to Dr. Powell. So far, I have been satisfied with the service me and my girls receive.

My recent visit to Powell Vet exceeded my hopes. I have a nervous doggo (10yo) that is generally a wreck at anything that even hints at being a vet clinic. My pup was calmed immensely by the caring duo at Powell Vet.Dr. Powell is very knowledgeable and upfront. I greatly appreciate the care he took in explaining his thoughts on my dog's overall condition.I will be switching all my dogs to Powell Veterinary

If you’re looking for an ear crop go elsewhere. My dog had an ear infection almost immediately after and has had problems with the healing there after. The wrapping sucks and they don’t know how to post the ear. Worst ear crop ever.
