Love this company, their management team is unbeatable. I appreciate the honesty and follow through of G&Z's team. If you are looking for a place where the owner cares about his drivers, this is it.

They Promote outside of company, Stuck at starting pay, Micromanaging/ adding pointless and unuseful tasks, Constantly changing the schedule, I've been changed from Three locations within 4 hours, They expect respect but never give respect, Will not take anyone's opinion, Will take constructive criticism as condescending, Dispatch will take credit for what the pushers do, Will threaten to fire if a day off is needed, Needs reason into personal life on why day off is needed, Management will talk down and treat others as they are below them. And on top of all of that, they suck 🆠for money.

Really bad place to work. I was there 6 months. It was ok at first. Then they switched to chassis and box instead of pneumatic trailer. Paid less per load , but it was faster to unload. You would think you would get more loads done. Nope! On most days I would wait an hour , sometimes 2, to get a truck and chassis, then you had to goto a frac site for an empty box , then you would go to pick up sand and then deliver first load. All that took 3 to 5 hours to deliver your first load. Checks went down , but hours worked went up. Also they had a really good dispatcher , Juicy. When he left not a single night dispatcher, I worked nights, cared if the driver made any money. No respect for the driver...

I didn't want to give G&Z a bad review. They have been a great company to work for and I made good money with them. Dispatch has been extremely friendly and great to work with. However, they have recently put in charge a man in their Ft. Lupton yard that has made it unbearable to work for them. In the past, contractors would run 24 hours, swapping drivers every 12 hours. We could run 4 to 5 (possibly 6) loads a day. Drivers would swap out at a convenient location on route to their destination. After this man was put in charge we are barely doing 2 loads a day. We are now required to stop by the Ft. Lupton yard after every 12 hour shift for ‘inspection' which is 45 minutes off route. This cost us unnecessary time and fuel, and our paychecks have been cut in half. We have been required to hand over our CDL licenses and other certifications every shift, making it more like a DOT inspection every 12 hours. I cannot fathom how this is affecting G&Z's business. We are running half the sand we used to be able to. The reasoning we were told that this new practice was taking place was due to trailers being misplaced. However the blame has been placed on the truck driver and now we use unnecessary time and wasted fuel money to drive 45+ minutes every shift so this DOT sympathizer can take money out of the drivers pay and wasted time that could be spent following the route for optimal efficiency. We have also been followed up to Cheyenne by this man on one occasion. He would pull us over with his personal vehicle and asked what route we took and if we have cleared the point of entry. This is just a huge headache of constant harassment and is truly a sad time for drivers. Nobody respects the drivers that make the business possible anymore. This company was much better off without this man. It will be best to apply for work here when he is gone.
