On June 4 2022 bailey's moving delivered my household goods to my townhouse. About 2 hours into unloading the 2 young movers stated there wasn't any more room upstairs for boxes so they would move remainder into garage. I was very occupied with arranging boxes downstairs and unpacking. After movers left I went upstairs to see that the living spaces upstairs were almost completely empty and the boxes could have went upstairs!! I called bailey's, spoke to a manager who stated they could not help me, and that it was partly my responsibility to check the upstairs. They only offered $150 refund, or they would return but had to charge $125 per hour plus mileage. Had to get help from my 76 year old friend and her son to help me move boxes from garage to upstairs. This took us an entire day.

Worst experience with a company in my life. Excuse after ridiculous excuse as to why our stuff has not been shipped. No straight answers and no call backs. Customer service is non existent. Recommend choosing any other company over Baileys.

My move with Bailey's started out well. They came highly recommended. Jamie Fair, the sales person seemed genuine and sincere. They loaded up my things and stored them for 5 months. However, that is where it all went wrong. I was told that my things would be stored in a vault that they build. I was told that my mattresses and box springs would be boxed to protect them from dirt and sagging. 5 months later, my goods arrived and my mattresses and box springs were lying on top of all the other goods, not covered and not boxed). I was told by Chase (who said he was the operational manager) that my goods had actually been stored on the moving van for the past 5 months. I'm assuming they traveled the country for 5 months. Needless to say, I had damaged furniture and furnishings. When I called to speak to Jamie Fair, I could not get through. I tried emailing as well. His assistant, Michelle, tried to help once and then would not return my calls. All she did was transfer me to the GM. The General Manager (can't remember his name) hung up on me. When Jamie finally responded, it was simply to tell me to file a claim. I would to recommend this company to anyone. I got a bill today for more than the contracted amount plus additional $700 for which I was left no documentation as to what were the charges. It is apparent, that from start to finish, this is a company that practices deceptive trade. BEWARE!

If I can prevent just one person from hiring Baily's Moving & Storage to move long distance and not go through what I did I would feel good. I hired Baily's to move me from Colorado to California on August 16th. I was told there was a 10 day window, that my furniture would be delivered between the 20th - 30th. I was told that the 10 days was because they're moving people along the route. Long story short my furniture was loaded into a truck and taken to their warehouse and unloaded, where it sat for 12 days! The person in charge of my move carried out a dresser and the drawers were falling out! The top drawer is bashed in thanks to the extremely unprofessional person in charge of my move that day. The driver that delivered my stuff was amazing and very professional. He was an independent contractor that Baily's hired. I paid $6200 for my furniture to sit in a warehouse for 12 days and collect dust! My stuff weighed under 5k pounds, so yes, I believe I was taken advantage of too. BUYER BEWARE

This is the absolute best storage company in Delta County. The units are clean and the area is easily accessible. The owner's are a complete joy to deal with and we couldn't be happier in the knowledge that our belongings are safe in their care.

Packers used an excessive amount of packing material and did not label boxes accurately. It took hours of searching to find certain things. Some boxes had one item in them and there were several things chipped and broken even though they packed in a ton of paper on the top of the box yet, the item itself was not wrapped! They dropped expensive wooden filing cabinets and broke the drawer hinges. Tables legs were cracked and chipped. Two 20' ladders mysteriously disappeared - how do you loose something like that!? Jamie was very pushy and then couldn't be reached once he thought he had made the sale.

Our moving experience with Bailey's started out well. Knowledgeable estimator, experienced packers, etc. After that our move went downhill. We had to store our goods for several months until we were able to settle into our new house out-of-state. Our unloading crew moved so fast that we were unable to check whether every box had arrived. Our driver told us we had up to 8 months to report broken or missing items ( he was in a hurry to make his next delivery) It turned out that a number of boxes were missing but Allied Movers would not honor our report because the driver had us sign the delivery papers even though we didn't have time to check for all of our boxes. Very dishonest business practices. Do not use this company!

Unbelievably bad experience - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I put in a lot of time and effort to make this move as easy as possible for the movers. I was moving from Grand Junction to Denver and was moving in to an apartment and a storage unit. I color coded what was to go where to make it simple. On the way to the storage unit I found out my daughter's car broke down on a mountain pass leaving her stranded. The crew had instructions on how to off-load my truck but the priority was to not leave my daughter stranded on the interstate. They were so careless in the offload: boxes stacked on top of boxes clearly marked "fragile;" boxes that were marked for the front of storage put at the back of storage; and the real kicker was the wall of heavy furniture that makes it impossible for me to get to the majority of my belongings unless I hire help. I asked the company for $125 to cover the cost of replacing items I can't get to until I move in 8 months and they refused. On top of insult, customer service is HORRIBLE. After $3,500 on a move this company wouldn't refund a $125 for a mistake they clearly made. Use Mesa Moving instead. BE FOREWARNED!

Slow Delivery and Predatory Charges. I packed up most everything but a few items in my office and the entirety of the kitchen cabinets. The packers put my boxes inside other boxes (even my bubble wrap packaging and U-Haul boxes), then charged me for their boxes. The delivery did not arrive until the afternoon of the very last day of the deadline. The furniture did not get assembled, yet I was still charged for furniture assembly. I will never use Allied again.
