Sold me essentially 6 month expired salad dressing. Almost everything I buy from here ends up being expired! And the last several times I've been every beef item in the meet department I picked was wrapped so badly that they were ripped open on the top and leaking every where from the bottom. So disgusting getting raw meat on my hands when I'm trying to shop for groceries.

Okay, now I don’t know about all Safeway’s but I truly hope that if you love that small town everyone knows everyone and the staff even remember you. Then you are going to appreciate this store. The shelves are full and the staff is amazing and everyone just seems to slow down a little , people just seem to go back to a time when this was the norm. Not one bad thing to say. Know matter your income level or your position in life matters. It’s just kinda like cheers the sitcom but a grocery store.

I come here a lot and typically like this place but the little old Hispanic lady working self checkout is obnoxious. My daughter and myself walk up to self checkout as she rushes over to input a customer survey while we’re checking out. Then proceeds to grab the items out of my hands to scan. I’m very capable of scanning my items but I appreciate it. I also don’t need her to repeatedly tell me to enter my phone number; I got this. I know how this works. She needs to back off. I get how companies these days base employee performance off of surveys and I’m sure here job has been threatened because of lack of said surveys. That’s the way to explain this behavior. It needs to stop. It’s very rude and disruptive. Let your guests check out and let your employees do their jobs.

Really clean, nicely presented store with very helpful and kind employees. Best selection of prepared foods of the grocery stores in the area! You can find a lot of healthy and unique items here that are difficult to find elsewhere.

I came in this morning to get a money order. I waited at the customer service desk for a bit and noticed that 2 women workers were deep in conversation at self-checkout. They both looked at me and then turned around to continue their conversation. Finally one of them walked over, Holly went behind the desk and said "What do you need?" Seriously?!?! This is how we are going to treat customers. I asked for the money order and she rolled her eyes and went on the rant about how much they cost and what money increments they come in. I am not asking for your permission for this. I need the money order for a dumb bill. I haven't gotten any money since I was a teenager. I am sorry for inconveniencing you, but this is your job. My family and I have worked at Safeway before, heck my dad retired from Safeway. I know how you are supposed to treat customers. But I feel like every time I shop here, the atmosphere is awful. No one smiles or helps you. The managers are too busy having their conversations and stand in the middle of the aisles. I am just really disappointed about this location. Looks like I am heading to King Soopers instead.

Pretty upset leaving the store today.Kathleen F. (cashier) was rude and condescending explaining that you can buy alcohol in the self check line (told me to go to the self check, and then said " I guess I can take you at the checkstand" very begrudgingly) and seemed very unhappy to be at the checkstand. Not sure what her problem was, but this was a bad customer service experience. All she needed to say is that "its okay to get the alcohol at self check, but I'll go ahead and take you over here today, no problem". Instead of telling me that the rules havent changed in the 12 years shes worked there with an attitude. I was so appalled that I just stood there in silence until the transaction was done and left.

Initial Email:I placed order #67530004 last Sunday 07/23/2023. I even paid to get this express delivery, as I was in a rush. One hour later-nothing arrived and it still never showed "on the way." I reached out via chat and there was nothing they could do to assist but ask the driver or store to reach out to me, at some point-but they could not verify when, if ever, anyone would reach out. Of course, no one did. At this point I did not want to leave to go to another grocery store, in fear of this order being delivered and having double product. Another hour goes by and I contact the store. The person who answered was delightful and this certainly is no reflection on him (Jacob or Josh maybe). They believe the driver took my order and never delivered it. He assured me the manager would credit my account for the amount the following day. One week later-I still have not received my credit. I understand this takes a couple days but come on. It shouldn't if this was credited in the day, for the day, as it should have been. Then I have spent hours trying to reconcile this, with chat, the store, customer service, etc. I have cancelled my fresh pass and I would like a refund for my past fresh pass payment, as it was only used for that order and I am not paying for something I cannot rely on and causes me more of a headache in an already busy day.Follow up email: Hello. You stated "Your order refund request is under review. A final email will be sent within 24 to 48 hours." This was SIX DAYS AGO. I still have no refund from 07/23 from an order that you never delivered, nor an update. I need an update on this. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never shop with Safeway again. Furthermore, I want to be credited for my fresh pass. It was never used for the month of August except for the delivery that you DID NOT deliver. I am not paying $12.99 for absolutely nothing. If this is not handled today, I am reaching out to dispute both of these charges with American Express and reporting to the BBB.STILL NO REFUND AND NO RESPONSE

Safeway is okay. It's close but I prefer kingsooper it less expensive and since safeway remodeled they cut staff back and increased prices.

ا It is a place where we always shop. Today, by chance, my family and I passed here for the purpose of shopping for some things She wasn't a good cashier. She started with not very good looks when she learned the language difference between us. I'm not good at English. And I was a little tired But she said words to me I didn't know what she said but my children started Ihtnoni and say you are a good father do not be sad According to the cashier I hope that you will see whether the camera was at fault or not today 06/08/23....112.31 o'clock her name cashier today Was LeAnn. If she didn't speak or she was upset with us then I offer my apologies but if she was wrong I hope they put a friendly employee because her place is considered The real face of the store

Worst set store I have ever been in... Same type foods I went hunting for, all in different places instead of being in one general area... It was so bad I needed help to find items... Man I hope I never have to go there again....

Horrible!! This Manager and 2 co-workers sitting in the parking lot, smoking, littering and gossiping about other employees. What a turn off for a customer. I turned around and left, going to the store at Broadway and dry Creek. This manager is so rude to not only the customers, but also to the staff and it’s not impressive. I live in a nice area and this is a great location to have a Safeway, but, I will be using the other Safeway from now on. I shop here all the time, about thousand to 1500 $ a month, and it makes me feel so uncomfortable your managers degrading their staff. No wonder they were so much turnover there.
