I recently had a wonderful experience at King Soopers that truly brightened my day. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The store was impeccably organized, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. I was particularly impressed by the fresh produce section, which had a vibrant selection of fruits and vegetables that looked incredibly appealing.
While I was shopping, I encountered a staff member who went above and beyond to assist me in finding a specific item. Their knowledge of the store's layout and genuine willingness to help made my visit even more enjoyable. The checkout process was smooth and efficient, with friendly cashiers who engaged in pleasant conversation, making me feel valued as a customer.
Additionally, I appreciated the variety of products available, from local goods to organic options. It’s clear that King Soopers takes pride in offering quality items that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. Overall, my experience was nothing short of delightful, and I left the store feeling satisfied and happy. I look forward to my next visit, knowing that I can
count on King Soopers for a great shopping experience. Highly recommend!

Staff member "Lori" is unbelievably incompetent. Lori was working at the self checkouts and took forever to check my ID -- but she didn't finish the ID check process and the machine was still displaying a problem, so she came back a minute later after helping someone else, only to complain to me that another employee had "walked right past you" and she went to nag the other employee instead of helping me. In frustration I left the self checkout and went to a regular line. Unfortunately an item rang up wrong and I didn't notice until I was walking out of the store, so I went to customer service and Lori was working there (I assume her manager pulled her off the self checkouts because she's terrible at it). I told Lori that something rang up wrong and she answered her work phone, then hung up and started messing around on her personal phone looking at her emails. I got tired of waiting for her to do absolutely nothing so I went back to the line where I'd paid and got help from the guy there. Thanks to Lori I had to wait in line four times just to complete my purchase of four items. Lori is the most grossly incompetent grocery store employee I've ever dealt with in my life and she's the reason I'm leaving this store a bad review.

Having the price of goods raised with the only discount to normal price requiring you to create a login on their website for a "digital coupon" is a really fresh dystopian hell

I find myself angry every time I shop here. Stop treating me like a criminal. Stop closing the front door on every store. I don't care if it's shrink, charge me more, or hire another worker to watch it. Not to mention, I feel like no one works here. I bag my own groceries. I check out my own stuff. I can't have any bags. Long lines. I'm just tired of the enshittification. I'm not a shareholder so all I can do is go to TJs, Costco, and Sprouts from now on.

This store is stealing from you.
I went in to buy a few groceries, particularly 1 lb of beef that was marked down from $7.99 to $4.49 (see photo). Prior to paying I noticed the beef scanned at $7.99, not the $4.49 as priced so I called the attendant. She made me walk back to the meat department to take a photo.
She told me that price ended on the 11th but nobody pulled the sticker off the shelf. Today is the 14th so King Soopers has been stealing money from it's customers for the last 3 days. When I brought that up, she agreed to give me the beef for the advertised price.
So she logs in, alters the purchase, scans my $2.99 cookies and prices them up to $4.49. So my grand total went UP from $18.02 to $19.52 and leaves. I called her back and had to explain that I didn't need the price of my cookies to go up, but rather the price of my beef to come down. She did apologize for the mistake and made it right.
This is either blatant theft, or gross incompetence. If it's theft, I can't shop here again because it's disgusting for multi-billion dollar corporations to steal from fixed-income disabled people like myself. If it's incompetence, I can't shop here because they handle poultry and pork, which raises salmonella concerns.
Either way, check your receipts and be very wary of shopping at this store. I won't.

The people who work there are SO rude. I asked a woman in the produce section if she could help me find an item and she could not have been bothered more. Her response was "I mean I guess I could look it up but I'm in the middle of something". I left my cart where it was and left the store.

I want to recognize your employee Dustin. He was stocking shelves and over heard my husband and I talking about kitchen ware items being buy 1 get 1 free. We didn’t really want 2 pots but figured we might as well. We got them and left. Dustin came to personally find us in the store to let us know about the sale and what it applies to allowing us to get what we actually needed! Thank you so so much Dustin! That was exceptional customer service in my eyes!

If you have a baby that cries, do NOT shop here. I was shocked and disappointed when at around 12pm today an old, male EMPLOYEE belittled a mother trying to checkout with a crying baby. Clearly customer service is below par. I will not be supporting such a location. And will opt to go to the King Soopers that is LITERALLY 5 min away on University.

This used to be my go to place to shop but I’m no longer comfortable shopping here due to the quality of meat they carry and the quality of packaging recently. I’ve had to throw away so much meat that goes bad much sooner than the expiration and return multiple items that had the seal broken. I almost bought fish that had the packaging punctured, was dried out and hard around the side with the hole, and repackaged and put back on the shelf for resale. I’ve never had an issue before but this has all been in the last couple months and I’m worried food safety isn’t a priority anymore.

I have never seen a King Soopers with employees that don't want to talk to anyone whatsoever and everyone seems so unhappy. There were buggies and items that needed to be stocked all over the store just sitting on the floor at 11:00 in the morning .I went in to shop and trying to find someone to ask a question about and no one would even acknowledge me while I was there. Someone needs to talk to their management and staff to see about maybe correcting that.

I avoid this king Soopers location because they allow solicitors constantly in the parking lot that harass customers. On February 19 there was a solicitor that was harassing people especially one old woman and asked her to sign his petition like 20 times and she was so annoyed and telling him to leave her alone.

So many King Soopers either don't have the staff or just don't want to keep their full deli open. I've been impressed with this one as it's the only one I can count on to have hot fried chicken! I travel around the city and I just wanted to pass on some kudos. Keep it up! Put those other soopers to shame...

My review is strictly about the pharmacy. The staff goes above and beyond to help you out. Victoria the pharmacist is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet. She helped me from having a complete freak out when I left my meds on the train. I fill all my scripts here and I use the app all the time. I recommend this location of King Soopers.
