“I have been shopping at Night Owl for, I want to say, 6 years now? And I couldn't be happier. I constantly find new and old games there for under MSRP and often under Amazon's discounted prices. They have the best selection with no pressure sales and a wonderful "come on in and play" atmosphere that other stores can't seem to get quite right.I have come in just to browse and play games without making a purchase many times and still feel welcomed and appreciated just for being there. I never feel like I am in anybody's way or inconveniencing them by my presence.Night Owl Games feels like home. “I was just visiting Denver and wanted to visit a quilt shop. Everyone welcomed me into the store, and I was helped to buy some fabric specific to Colorado.The best thing about this shop is that they buy other people's stash and sell it for $7.00 per yard. Of course, you have to take the colors they have vs having it in every color out there, but that's not a huge deal unless you're shopping for a specific color.If I lived in Colorado, this would become my go-to store.”

Today I was looking for a special piece in a certain color to complete a small set that I found at a garage sale. While I was hopeful that they might have the piece, the ease at which they located one in a small bin of parts was very impressive. “I'd been buying my bird seed at a big box store. Initially used the cheap stuff but it just attracted mice to the seeds the birds would reject. Eventually migrated to a no-mess sunflower only seed which was increasingly expensive and out of stock. Then i visited Wild Birds Unlimited who showed me several options that would attract a wider variety of birds and for a reasonable price. This is my go-to store now!”

The folks in the framing dept. are very knowledgeable and made several creative suggestions for frame & mats that really augmented the prints nicely. The people who helped me were Chris, Sierra, and Oliver. They were all very professional, creative, and above all - patient with me as I must have spent easily over an hour playing with frame and mat combinations.”

I would have been looking around for who knows how many minutes looking for this small item if a guy named Antonio hadn't OFFERED assistance! Thank you so much, sir! Usually when I come to this store the teenage employees have NO interest whatsoever in offering help of any kind. This experience today was out of the norm and totally unexpected! Please give Antonio a raise and tell him how appreciated he is and for him to keep up the good work! “I visited a couple weeks ago, searching for a very specific yarn I didn't have a label for, so I was comparing skeins to a snip of the yarn. I had been to 3 or 4 other Michaels' searching for this yarn and everywhere was out of stock. It was out of stock at this store, too, HOWEVER the associate who helped me told me the exact yarn she thought it was and how to find it online. And she was right!!!! It was an exact match. I'm so grateful she was working that day and happened to find me in the yarn aisle.”

“I am new to using this location. The other day I was checking out using the self check out and had a very rapid blood sugar crash and started feeling like I was going to pass out. So I rushed finishing and bagging my items. When I got home I realized I had forgotten an item, the exact item I had gone in for!! LOL. I called the store and asked them if they'd found it but they had not but the kind woman I spoke to said not to worry to come back the next day and they would take care of it.I went in yesterday and spoke to Beatrix. She was sooooo sweet. She immediately called back and asked if somebody could bring one of the sets of the product I'd bought up. There was a bit of confusion and they were very busy but she handled everything with a calm and kind demeanor. As a former manager and current business owner, Beatrix is the kind of team member I would love to have on my team!!!! Good team members are sometimes hard to find but I've talked to at least 6 different team members during previous shopping excursions at this location and every single one was perfect so it shows great management!! Great job, Highland's Ranch Michael's team!!! High five ?”
