I love this gym, but they close the smoothie shop 30 minutes before it's supposed to close and they start cleaning the sauna out 30 minutes before it's supposed to close so you can't enjoy the amenities at night

NOT ENOUGH EQUIPMENT! This gym is in dire need of a double arm cable machine. There is NOWHERE to do double arm pulls unless you take up half of the entire cable area or use a machine that blocks the entire walkway and goes awkwardly into another machines space. The ken caryl location has just one of these machines and it's STILL not enough. I know chuze is incabale of knowing if there's not enough machines for something if there's 0 of them (no line for obvious reasons lol) - they need these machines. It's a standing machine with two adjustable arms.

Please update your childcare hours in your new app. I showed up at 1 pm with my son after checking the childcare hours on the app ahead of time and they had closed an hour and a half earlier than the stated hours. It's so hard to get out of the house and get to the gym with a baby just to show up and have it not be open when it said it would be online is disappointing.

CHUZE another gym…any other gym…
First off, I do not like to complain outside of the intent helping the public for awareness. I am a Highlands Ranch resident and have been for two decades. I have a blog I founded 11 years ago, based on Human Connection and Integrity that reaches over 45 million people. Please see list of relevant issues- all while another nice gym opened across the street… I Chuze to change membership as they Chuze to make up rules and enforce rules on the fly, without being professional, and have no focus on maintaining the equipment or tanning beds. See below for list of an honest experience…

Ever see the Friends episode on how hard it is to cancel your membership? Their own website says you can use the app- nope…their own website is misleading…they pick and chuze the rules they make up on the fly and enforce based on how you look.
Manager, Morgan, is extremely arrogant and they don’t work with customers to resolve issues. He has a reputation with members for being aggressive and treating members like cattle and violators. The entitlement was grossly apparent with sneers and threats to members.
Use your phone to connect music for headphones? Nope, policy is no phones are allowed to be used, and no bags…and Manager Morgan loves to claim he is ‘enforcement’ and treat you like a criminal.
The gym is full of young kids without gym etiquette. The staff is always obnoxious at the front counter and act like they are in middle school recess vs at a place of employment.
The parking is a nightmare - good luck finding parking.
Planet Fitness is across the street. I canceled my membership of several years, and am signing up with them.

Chuze Gym has everything you need: great membership price, amazing equipment, a spacious facility, friendly staff, and polite members. I love taking the Body Pump class and using the sauna to warm up before lifting weights!
Super recommend it!

Chuz and Highlands ranch has friendly staff very clean gym and lots of amenities and the price is extremely reasonable. It feels good to be there!

A HUGE shout out to the staff at Chuze!! They went above & beyond for me today. I am a new member and still getting used to the systems and day use lockers. I have lost track of what locker I put my belongings in a handful of times already but today was very stressful. I did it again. This time I completely lost track of what locker I used and thought my stuff was taken. I started panicking. The help I received and the assurance that was given was positive and professional. Every locker was checked, video was checked and my items were located. I am extremely grateful for their help and how they remained calm when I was not. Thank you!

Edit for Owner Response: No, I canceled my membership today because of this and how it was handled. You will not see me again. You've shown me no loyalty at all, so I responded in kind. There are many ways to increase revenue/margins without upsetting your current client base, pricing increases for current members being the least effective.
Buyer beware: Their contract basically says they can raise their price whenever they want, and you have no protection from such actions as a consumer. Grandfathered pricing would be a great way to show loyalty to those who have shown loyalty to your business for years.

Staff is terrible. Every time I come in seems to be an entirely new group of people doesn't look like they can keep anybody longer than a week these days. The only person that seems to be sticking around is this god awful Insufferable little girl Nicki or (sha-day) im not sure what her name is she keeps changing it. In fact she rudely corrected me on that when I politely asked her to use one of their hydro massage beds. How was I supposed to know she had a different name? What will it be next week? She keeps harassing me every time I come in. One morning she rudely told me to put my bag away and I didn't know that was even a rule. Anyway I respectfully put my bag away but that doesn't seem to be enough for her. She circles around the gym following me around eyeing me down as if shes looking for some sort of trouble (daily) making me extremely uncomfortable. Mind you I've done nothing to provoke her. She consistently calls me "Bud and Buddy" in a very belittling tone after I already asked her to stop addressing me that way. And to top it off on my way out one morning I clearly over hear her snickering with one of her little friends that was working out mentioning something about my "white privilege" I'm not sure how this woke world works these days but I'm pretty sure that's discrimination but what does my "white privilege" know? Haha. All the good people seem to have walked out the door it's a shame this company can't keep anybody decent anymore. Moving forward I've cancelled my membership and switched to Planet Fitness across the street where there are no high schoolers and the staff is respectful and kind.

Valerie P, the Pilates teacher was not welcoming when I entered and just immediately asked for a confirmation code for class. I am on a trial and didn’t know how to get that and she said to figure it out or ask someone else in class, keep in mind I showed up early. She did the same with another person who entered and the machine outside wasn’t working. Her tone overall was not soft, patient, energetic, or welcoming. I remember coming here last year when I had a membership and she was the same instructor. Was also rude as well.
