Since moving to Highlands Ranch, I’ve switched my pup’s vet to Altitude and am so glad that I found them for her basic care. They have always been so kind, responsive and amazing. My dog is very timid, but adores everyone at Altitude. Then, when establishing our newly adopted dog with Altitude, they were quick to find that he was heartworm positive. They were quick to put together a months-long treatment plan for him and have taken great care of him with every treatment. It is apparent that everyone in the office cares for their patients so well, and I feel absolutely comfortable leaving my pets with the Altitude team. Thank you for giving me peace of mind when it comes to my babies!

Our first visit was for our 7yo hound mix dog last Nov who was limping. We thought he’d torn a something while playing with a neighbors dog, but it turned out he had bone cancer. They took such good care of him that when our sons 20yo Westie mix quit eating the following Feb, we knew it was time to take him to Altitude to help him cross the rainbow bridge. The lit candles in front of a sign on the receptionists counter as a notice that a family was saying goodbye, requesting respect during this difficult time. The face is as much time as we needed, never rushing. They took a difficult time and made it a little more bearable. And the dog with the bone cancer… one year later is doing great! We recommend Altitude to everyone in the area with a pet! They’re AMAZING!

I started going here because I liked the groomers for brushing my dogs teeth and cleaning his anal glands. After my first visit with a doctor, that mentioned brushing my dogs teeth more often, I asked the groomer if she wouldn’t mind showing me how to do it and she took me back to the room and just placed toothpaste on his back inside teeth on both sides and that was it! I was getting charged $12 for this. With my first visit there to see Dr. Kim, I was surprised that no attention whatsoever was given to my dog in the office, no getting to know him, petting him, or offering him a treat, or a smell of her hand. For the second visit a few weeks later, I asked if I could see a different doctor so that I could meet all 3 of them and we were assigned to Dr. Ansenth. The day before the second visit I asked if they have time to do a leg x-ray and they said yes and asked if I could come in 15 minutes early as I did. The day of 1st morning appointment they said they were short staffed, and wanted to keep him in a kennel for half a day in order to get that X-ray. Instead of leaving him, I decided to reschedule, but I wish they wouldn’t of told me the day before that it was no problem. I want to mention that this doctor also didn’t give my dog any attention. Both doctors stood by the desk in the exam room, as if they didn’t even like dogs.I also received a six month prescription to send into an online pharmacy. When the online pharmacy called the vet, they said I needed to get a heartworm test before filling the prescription, yet I had the paper prescription in my hand. They made a mistake, and they would not help me get this prescription filled until I made another appointment, which would cost more money and time.I will be returning to our very, animal loving vet, in Parker.

From the first phone call to the first visit we are amazed. The team is so genuine and friendly and the clinic is impeccable. Clean, bright, double doors to prevent pets slipping out. Dr. Kim was so kind and informative and patient with our GSD. The whole front desk were also very kind and helpful. We are so happy we switched to this vet clinic.

Today was a difficult day and words cannot express the feeling of gratitude for Dr. Todd. Her kindness and compassion for a heartbroken pet owner will be remembered. Many thanks to all involved for the peaceful transition over the rainbow bridge.

This place is great! We already had our dog going there for care, and now our cat, and I can't tell you how grateful I am for such wonderful service. Thank you!

We’ve been here a few times to get care for our older dog. Scheduling is easy, the staff are great, Dr. Kim has always been so caring and helpful. I would highly recommend Altitude Animal Hospital!Update! We continue to love this animal hospital. All the vets and staff have been so helpful in caring for our very sick dog.

I FINALLY have a vet that I trust with my animals. I would not think twice about chosing this vet for care for your furbabies. Not once did they try to upsell me. They listened (YES! They listened!) to all my concerns and I left with a plan and I wasn't broke! The vet is very well educated on everything that came up. And befriended my BIG SCARY Teddybear , which his bark and size can be intimidating. She walked out of the backroom with him being a friend! WOW . I'm sold and wont take my animals anywhere else.

We were refered to Dr Todd and Altitude Animal Hospital after we moved to a new part of town and our old veterinarian was too far away. We could not have been more pleased with they way they treated our fuzzy son. From the first visit they treated him with love and care (he is a sr dog). Since then we havehad some issues with him and they have been extremely responsive and professional in his care. Thank you Altitude for making us feel at ease with his well being.

We live right behind this office and thought we’d give them a try since we needed to update our dogs vaccines. We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super friendly and great with our dogs. They even gave estimates for everything so you knew what the cost was before you did a procedure. I like the transparency. I wouldn’t say they are more expensive or cheaper than any vet I’ve been too, about $338 per dog to get them caught up on all vaccines and heart worm. We will definitely be back and glad we found our new vet!

Can't say enough good things about Altitude. We take both of our dogs here and have always had the best interactions. Kind, timely, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. We always know our dogs are in the best care!
