What was our favorite vet, Dr. K, was just acquired by a conglomerate that SIGNIFICANTLY increased prices. The new vet was great, but their pricing is absolutely absurd...over twice was the previous vet charged and over twice what their competitors just up the street charge. I don't know if it's a corporate gouge or the fact that they think they can charge whatever they want given the neighborhood...regardless, needless to say we switched vets and are getting our dental work done for less than half what they tried charging.

I did a decent amount of research in finding a good vet for my new pups which had me come across Alpenview Vet hospital. This was my experience from beginning to end. When I called, the gentleman on the phone was hospitable while taking my info and setting the appointment. I believe he was the same person when I came into the office as well. He greeted me and took the boys weight and directed me into the exam room, which was a 6x6 closet so small the exam table was affixed to the wall. I was filling out the initial paper and a girl opens the door and says, "Is this all their medical records?" and I replied, "yes". She closes the door and leaves. I have not taken the pups for any veterinary appointments since I picked them up a year ago from a breeder, so they have not had any vaccinations or a checkup. She then comes back into the room and begins to "recommend" all these vaccinations/tests that they would like to do on the pups. First off, what happened to, "Hi, my name is India, it's nice to meet you and your pups." Instead, I get nothing. Absolutely NO normal human interaction here! How can I feel comfortable and confident with their health care services for my dogs when this is how I'm treated the first visit? This made me feel so uncomfortable. I walked out of the exam room, told the gentleman at the front desk, "I apologize, but I would like to cancel my appointment. I feel uncomfortable here. Thank you." Your office staff and techs are the clients first experience with your practice. Coach them better. Be kind and courteous. Not a direct salesman with no people skills! That too much to ask??

Love these guys !! So sweet w the dogs ! The staff are so helpful .The Dr really cares and it shows . Quick convenient.Thank you for all you do ! Our dog was not feeling well and these people took great lengths to take care of him . Very grateful !

We’ve brought our two dogs here for a couple years and they do an amazing job! Our Great Dane and mini dachshund have had surgeries here, teeth cleanings, regular checkups, and sick visits and we’ve been impressed by their services in all these circumstances. They don’t seem to charge extra for unnecessary things which is something we encountered a lot with our previous vet. The staff is always friendly and very loving towards our pups.

Took our pup in as a walk in and she was seen and cared for even with them having a already full schedule for the day. Highly recommend.

We have used Alpenview for the past 18 years and have always received quality care from Dr. Koenig. His calls the next day to check in on us show his dedication and attentiveness. Even after moving farther away we make the drive to Alpenview.

I had a great experience with my new puppy's first vet visit at Alpenview! The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The vet assistant, India, was also very friendly and helped my puppy feel more comfortable. Dr, Koenig gave my puppy a gentle and thorough exam. My puppy immediately felt comfortable and was running around the entire office checking out the other dogs, cat, and staff members. My puppy received a vaccine and didn't notice it due to the doctor and his assistant distracting him.I chose Alpenview due to its location and online reviews and am very happy with my decision.Overall, I had a great first experience and will return for follow-up appointments. My puppy left feeling very comfortable and will not be scared when we return in 3 weeks.

Dr Koenig and staff provide excellent care at reasonable prices. They truly care about my pet and I trust Dr Koenig’s expertise. He’s been with us through adoption of our rescue, putting her down many years later and welcoming a new pup to our family. We’ve continued to make the drive even after we moved from Highlands Ranch. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

We’ve been clients at Alpenview for over 10 years, first with our yellow Lab Nell and more recently with our mixed-breed dog Tyson. Dr. Koenig and his staff have always taken great care of our furry family members. Friends have told me of other vet practices upselling them on services, and we have never had this problem with the folks at Alpenview. I trust this practice implicitly.
