I usually purchase my liquor and wine here due to proximity to work. However, today I experienced an extremely rude gentleman behind the counter that was very off-putting. After speaking to some coworkers, I found out it was the owner, which is appalling. Even with the hospital discount, I'll never return to this place.

I think I ran into the same guy from the first review of this place. My wife and I went to the store last Summer, because she needed to pick up few drinks. I helped her carry the bottles to the counter and waited behind her to finish checking out. The worker (creepy tall dark hair baseball cap guy) told me he needs to see my ID because I put the bottle on the counter. So I made a short laugh (Because I didn't think it was necessary) and pulled my ID out. Then he started getting on to my face all of sudden. Asking me if this situation is funny, and telling me there is a camera recording the whole thing? He checked my ID, and was still in a bad mood. So my wife asked him if he wants to check our IDs again, if he wants to. Then he told my wife he doesn't need her to give him an advice because he's been in this business for 6 years? (Good for him). My wife and I didn't feel safe the whole time in the counter. But jeez I hope this guy isn't working there anymore

If I could give this place a negative star review I would be more than willing to. Most employees are nice but there is one in particular that has been disrespectful and creepy tall dark hair baseball cap. We went in and he didn't look us in the eyes he appeared to be on some sort of substance. I later decided that I didn't want the certain liquor I had purchased went back to purchase a different type. The same employee was there and he told me "we're good" I asked him if he was asking me to leave he said "ya we're good." The entire time I was in the store he was not making eye contact and was on his phone the entire time. I then passed him after leaving city market and told him he was disrespectful he then proceeded to leave the store unattended while still on the phone, and the store door open. He followed us around the alley asking me and the girl I was with where we lived. We both felt as if he might follow us home, staring us up and down with negative sexual tension . I told him that was harassment he continued to accuse us of being drug addicts. I refuse to visit this shop while he is working. I work in the service industry and this is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever receiver and I do not recommend this place to anyone in the Gunnison area!!!!
