My husband is 78 years old and I am 72 and let's put it this way - We don't get around as well as we use to. He proudly wears his well wornViet Nam veteran cap. We have been in this store twice already this week trying to buy various things. There is literally NO ONE around to help you find what you are looking for. Once again we will have go back and return an item because we didn't get the right thing. On top of all of that, the lady checking us out late yesterday could not find his name registered in their system as a military veteran. We have previously registered him in their system to get the military discount. (He even has a DOD military ID in his wallet). She balked at giving him the 10% discount and finally said "Mam, He served 2 years in Viet Nam!" She finally gave it to him. However, no "Thank you for your service." For some reason, my husband still likes going to Home Depot and I will go with him to try and help. But as a woman shopper, I will always choose Ace Hardware where even though you pay a little more, you get actual customer service. They also offer military veterans a 20% discount on the first Friday of the month. I must say it is even so much easier to shop on Amazon. As for me, I amDONE with Home Depot!

Recently, I had the need to find a countertop for my bathroom vanity. I went to the Home Decoration Center and selected a quartz countertop. I did not realized that Home Depot sub contracts with different vendors who have the final say on price and installation. They also do not accept any liability for sub contractors. I was in constant communication with the sub contractor including a home visit to measure the vanity. Normally all bathroom vanities are sold by 36", 42",48" or 72" in length. I told the estimator that I needed a 48" countertop and he used a laser to measure the area. I did not realized when I received the schematic that it listed a 47" width. When the installation day arrived, the installer placed the quartz countertop and it was 1/2" shy. That was one problem and the other major problem was that the opening for my under mounted copper sink was cut to close to the front. This would have resulted in the lip of the sink to be wedged between the top of the vanity and under the quartz countertop. This was not acceptable. Furthermore, the hole for my water faucet was to far from the opening of the sink. My water faucet has a short spout and I shared both the sink and water faucet with the estimator and apparently they were not calculated into the schematic. I did not accept the quartz countertop because of these flaws. I went to the sales representative at the Home Decoration Center and she was very judgemental and sided with the subcontractor based upon their CYA agreement and so I abruptly left her without giving my full story because it would have been pointless.Yes, it was a valuable and painful financial lesson for me. I am now in the process of working with the granite company that fully installed my kitchen granite countertops because I have confidence and trust in their professionalism and attention to detail. Needless to say that I will never seek a service from Home Depot because there is no accountability in the process.Raul A

Have order multiple things here in the last month, and has been nothing but a problem. I ordered a vanity 2 months ago and the delivery every time has been a problem. They don't call you on the way, and are to lazy to bring up the stairs, when it is there job so they bring it back to warehouse. I the. Orders a grill which they then give me a floor model, gets delivered which I told them I want to be there and it has to be signed for. The delivery guy forged my name illegally and dropped it off with missing items. Home Depot customer service and there delivery guys they use have gone absolutely to crap. No ethic now a days. Done using Home Depot on any renovations.

I am building a new toy box for my dog. My first and only stop was Home Dept. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to both my pup and I. Lincoln was kind enough to go the extra mile for me and pull down some new wood.

Home Depot usually never fails when it comes to things I need in home repair or other DIY projects. They have pretty much everything from supplies to tools to complete the job. The store is usually clean, fully stocked and the employees are mainly friendly and competent. Check out is also usually fast and friendly.

Just left Home Depot in Greenwood Village and was expertly assisted by Ms. Holly Byers in Flooring. My husband and I had been assisted by Ms. Holly before and today was a 2+ hour carpet purchase and installation experience. Ms. Holly is patient, helpful and quite simply jolly. If we want to make a purchase that will require expert flooring assistance, we call ahead and make sure Ms. Holly is in. She consistently gets our order correct but she does it with such joy and laughter. Thanks Ms. Holly for another terrific experience.

Waited 45 min for curbside finally called the store and they had no idea people were outside waiting. It's like they are not checking their system for customers check in. This is ridiculous. I would be less upset if they said short staffed, but instead I was told oh we didn't know anyone was here waiting.

I don't understand why you have employees at all, to be honest. It seems that every time I walk in, I'm left to figure everything out for myself, including what you have in stock, where to find it, and best practices for using the products that YOU are selling. I can't imagine walking into a bakery where the person behind the counter goes, "I have no idea what any of this stuff is or how to eat it." But that's the exact experience I get at Home Depot. I will absolutely recommend that people stick to ordering online and use a different vendor if you have the opportunity. Going it is not a time saver. Also, I 100% DO NOT recommend their shady credit card. You don't get any useful or meaningful benefits, and some of the practices of deferring interest are really sketchy. I wish your sales people were better trained and that you as a company were any real benefit to DIY builders.

I could say that the employees here help me pretty good. Customer service is good and I went in the other day looking for a tool that said they had in stock on the website but didn't have it in store which blew me off but they helped me find a similar item that worked pretty good. Good teamwork.

Don't waste your time with this store. 2 additional days to "process the order" after it arrived. What a joke.

The customer service is great in my opinion. The lady's in the front desk are very polite especially the young lady's that have helped me a couple times have amazingly solved every issue of mine every time with an online order/ purchase.

Meh. It's ok. I'm not sure exactly what makes an super awesome Home Depot. This is mainly a rating based on curbside. Due to COVID and my own health issues, i need to do curbside or delivery for a lot of things. Every time I've done curbside here, whichever employee does it makes it seem like it's a chore and I'm lazy. I've gotten eye rolls, head shakes, etc. not ok.
