They forgot to take the anti-theft wire off the flip-flops I bought. It was pretty upsetting because I didn't want to spend another 40min driving there and back AGAIN. They also didn’t price match the exact same shoe that was just women’s vs men’s… so dumb
Edit: I was able to take the anti-theft device off with a wire-cutter

They have all the things you'd expect, but the reason I do NOT recommend this store is how it is managed. Every time I've been there, I see no more than 1 cashier, despite 6 registers. There are always long lines to check out and no help called up. Meanwhile, there are 4-6 staff in back who are sitting down, tossing product up and catching it, looking at their phones or talking to each other. It's grossly mismanaged and has an impact on the CX. I will not return.

I’ve been here numerous times, and more often than not, there are not enough registers opened to help with sales. I’ve spent more than enough time waiting in line just to buy a few small items, it’s no wonder people turn to shoplift instead. Today, I had an arm full of clothing and pet supplies. 2 registers opened and more than 50 people waiting in line, and nobody going anywhere because your cashiers are inefficient, slow, and useless. I didn’t need any of the items I selected that bad, so I dropped them and bounced. Why do you have so many registers and only 2 people working? My guess is that you don’t pay enough. Why not do what everyone else is doing, and get self checkout? Thumbs all the way down.

Small compared to other Sierra stores. Also hard to do returns here. Two different occasions they had technical difficulties.

Atrociously slow checkout. It was 20 minutes literally just standing there! There was only 1 person in front of me. All kinds of employees at the checkout area chatting off to the side but only one person doing it and it was the new employee and then was left there alone. No sense of urgency with the supervisor on duty. No good customer service with them either. So they shouldn’t have a credit card sign up at checkouts, how about that? How about having that when there’s a few more employees and no one in a long line?! Manager should have never just left. I was not impressed at the lax employees at this sierra. Every time I come in, it’s this way. Never see the same employee twice. Do they quit!? Bad management. Not stocked well and unorganized.

Purchased some cycling shoes online. They were too small so I sent them in for an exchange. I received no correspondence that they had been received or that they couldn’t be exchanged or why. Just a refund that was smaller than the original cost of even just the shoes. When I reached out, I was still not told why there was no exchange, but that the original shipping was non refundable AND I had to pay return shipping!

I love the products and prices at Sierra but my god, it is amazing how slow the process of buying something is at Sierra. No urgency at all even if there are twenty people in line staring at them and if you suggest that perhaps it's time to call for cashier assistance they say, Oh yeah, I guess you're right. And then eventually someone saunters up and serves a customer or two then leaves.

This place is a little bit like TJ Maxx with a hint of REI. They have the strange stuff like dog beds and lawn games, along with some light exercise equipment, travel accessories, and a lot of clothes. They have a pretty good selection of small hiking and biking backpacks, but they put security tags in the way of the zippers so it's annoying to shop for one. The running socks I looked at were cheaper than at REI for the same brand.

Loved this place! I am from Quad Cities, IL. I was amazed the selection available and the styles and quality was great. The Cashier ( a man with long hair) was very friendly and helpful!
