As a first-time home buyer, I have been looking to purchase a home during the start of the pandemic. Chae Bae from Professional Mortgage Source was recommended by a co-worker friend and I couldn’t be more satisfied with his services and efforts in trying to get me into a home of my dreams. My journey started with Chae in summer 2020 when I first asked for a pre-approval letter and he was quickly able to provide me with one so I can get a head start on the bidding process of home-buying. Unfortunately, I didn’t win the bid at the time and was starting to feel discouraged in trying to find a home during this hot market. Fortunately, a year later, a new build was developing in the city that I have been keeping my eyes on and again, I went to Chae for my updated pre-approval letter. He responded to all my emails and phone calls promptly. He gave me guidance on the current and future mortgage interest rates and help me lock my rates while waiting for the home to complete. Chae is professional, knowledgeable, quick in his response time, and always available to answer my questions. Closing with Chae was smooth sailing and he made the process stress-free. I highly recommend Chae to my friends and family!

Chae was the BEST!!! He just helped me refinance my home loan since i wasn't able to get the best rates possible from the fast escrow window before. He is very knowledgeable, and helpful every step of the way. His team is very responsible and always replies our questions right away. The team was able to close very quickly. Big thanks to Chae and his team at PMS! I was moving from CA to CO and I am self employed. The entire process from start to finish was simple and smooth. Anytime I had any questions Chae was always available to take my call and answer them. I was purchasing a home from a builder who had very specific dates for appraisal and closing. Chae and his team met there dates and had docs to title days before the deadline. Chae is very knowledgeable and rates are very competitive! I will definitely recommend Chae to anyone I know and I will be using him again.

This was the fastest refi I have ever done. He provided all the options in worksheets so we could determine are best option. The biggest thing, he provided the lowest rate compared to other mortgage sources. Highly recommend.

Even during a time when most people are experiencing slow turnaround times due to heavy demand for refinances, Chae responds to communications with lightning speed and has a great support staff to guide us through the entire process.

Throughout our refinance application, Chae was very responsive and offered very competitive rates. He and his team were also very good about answering questions directly and concisely instead of inserting superfluous jargon.
Why the two stars, then? Chae handled our refinance well, so we thought it'd be worth using him for financing on a cabin purchase. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, but the day before our contracted closing, he informed us that, for whatever reason, lending couldn't be secured given the way the contract was structured -- the day before closing. He had the contract for over a month.
The sellers decided not to agree to the structural changes Chae required, the deal fell through, and the cabin went to someone else. We're out all of the expenses leading up to the purchase, and of course, we lost the cabin. The sellers ultimately ended the deal, but Chae gave them every opportunity and incentive to do so.
Do not use this lending service unless you're already sitting on the property.

In the midst of COVID and low interest rates, everyone has been scrambling to get their homes refinanced; including me. Despite people advising me to keep the research to about 2-3 mortgage companies (to keep things less complicated), I inquired with 9 in the span of 2 weeks for my cash-out refi. I've done my due diligence which is why I knew that when I spoke to Chae at Professional Mortgage Source, he was special. Not only did he provide rates that were far lower than competitors, there were no extra "point" fees for the rates nor did he charge an absurd amount of closing fees. Just the standard cost of closing and he was transparent with what to expect from the get-go. Our new loan just closed today, about 3 weeks since our application. Throughout the entire process, Chae was available at any time when there were time sensitive documents and when I had questions (boy, did I have many for him). He was patient with me throughout it all and the matter-of-fact ways of explaining things was very comforting. I'm so grateful to have found Chae. He proved that going with a Mortgage Banker would be far more beneficial for us than going with a Bank during these times.
Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in! I will be sure to recommend you to anyone who is in search of a mortgage lender, Chae!!

Recently closed on a place with Professional Mortgage Source LLC - worked with Chae Bae, he was an excellent. I can not begin to tell you how easy this process was with him and Professional Mortgage Source. They are always attentive to the details and will ensure you get what you need. There were times I sent an email late at night not expecting a response at least until the morning, but to my surprise he replied within mintues! Highly recommend, and would definitely purchase again with them. Thank you!

Chae and his team at Professional Mortgage Source have performed two refinances for my family over the past 18 months. He always quoted the most competitive rates (and i received multiple quotes). Additionally, he answered all questions i had in a highly responsive manner - very impressed by how quickly he responded to any questions or concerns i had. And he answered them - not a junior level associate. The most recent refi included several hurdles due to new 'Covid' policies enacted by the underwriter and Chae did a masterful job of navigating us through to the closing. I highly recommend Chae Bae and Professional Mortgage Source.
