“Hope Tank is so much more than a cute local gift shop (although it is where I get 90% of my holiday and birthday gifts every year!). The concept of "gifts that give back" extends well beyond support of the local non profits their donations go to. This concept is a true representation of what mutual aid can look like.They run programs and educational forums out of their store and host different local micro businesses at their space every weekend. If you truly want your money to go to the people in your community that need it most, this the place to go. They have limited shopping hours now, but you can support through donations to the store as well. Could not recommend this place more.”

“If you need a gift for just about anyone or anything or any occasion, the selection is here! High quality selection, family owned Mom and Pop shop since 1989. I only went once but got a friendly earful while I almost got lost in the maze of the store finding the perfect gift. Check out their 3D interactive web store. “I think it's a great idea to help the less fortunate. You get a gift card that you don't want or need and take it there they will give you a portion of what it is worth and give it to the homeless or people in need of help. It's a win win situation. You are getting some of your money back and helping others that can't afford the necessities that most of us take for granted. It's a wonderful concept.”
“While I was out running errands, I popped into this shop to ask about a local restaurant recommendation. The kind woman at the front had a great suggestion right away! I stopped by a few weeks later and discovered they've got a great selection of greeting cards and small gifts - including fairy doors, which I haven't seen anywhere else. “Wish Gifts is a cute gift shop in the Washington Park neighborhood with a great selection of niche gifts. Each little table and different section of the shop has a theme and it's fun to look at all the different things to choose from. For example, there was an oceanside themed table, which had beautiful beachy accessories, and decorative items that would be perfect in a little seaside getaway. There's plenty of other themes - craft cocktails, gardening, Dolly Parton, golf, witchy goods, BBQ, tons of Swifty Merch, and there's a section for children and young adults, too.”
“Great selection of items, the owner (I think) was very nice and came up to explain different items to me but wasn't pushy. When I came back in a few minutes later to ask if he knew where the nearest public restroom was he was kind enough to let me and all of my friends use his which was much appreciated since we couldn't find any others near by!”

“Datura is a go-to for me for gift giving - decor, local gifts and the best jewelry! It stands out for the amazing people that work there like the owner, Jonah, who takes time to talk plants with you and never seems to tire of it! I arranged a terrarium building class recently with some friends and it was the best way to spend a Sunday morning. Jonah spent time teaching us about the whys of terrarium building and took us through selecting our plants and decorating our terrariums with fun mosses, rocks and crystals. We had so much fun that I ended up building two terrariums and am now daydreaming about more...”
“This store is absolutely awesome! My husband and I came in and had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few items. The shop owner was so kind and answered all of our questions. “I came in here a few days ago looking for joint tips and had the absolute pleasure of talking to RayRay. She helped me with the tips and we talked a while longer. I told her I was new and town and really liked the brand Blazy Susan. She told me all about them and where their proceeds from different colored products go and that they would even be adding a new one. She also told me about their carbon filters which were so cool and something I had never heard of. She wasn’t just knowledgeable about product but knew about the company as well. She told me all about myxedupcreations, the owners, and how they got arrested back in the 80s or 90s when they first opened up back in the day for selling glass. Super cool store. Even cooler staff. RayRay is a rock star”
“Obviously it’s not open to the public if it’s in a convention center! Don’t know what some of these people are on.
Main thing to get here is the miniature version of the big blue bear outside (I See What You Mean). Everything else is pretty generic and a bit more expensive compared to souvenir stores on 16th.”
“This is the cutest shop. They carry such unique and beautiful stuff, it's my go-to for gifts. They have really cute clothes, jewelry and home goods too, and I love that they feature local artists. I've been going here for years but was finally inspired to write a review after the exceptional customer service I received last time I was there. When I was checking out, the shop keeper asked if my purchase was a gift, then went above and beyond in wrapping it beautifully. Highly recommend stopping by!”

“I came to Decade looking for a pair of sunglasses because I forgot mine at home (nothing worse than being on a trip without sunglasses, especially when you're going to be outside most of the time). I ended up finding a really cute metal frame pair that I get compliments on all the time. While at Decade, I also browsed the rest of the store. There were tons of cute little gifts for all different types of interests (cooking, dogs, outdoors, astrology, humor, etc). I loved the wide variety of items and ended up buying my husband a pair of tuna socks (he loves fishing). They actually have trendy, tasteful, useful, locally made items here.
