this place was awesome! Our nine month old puppy had so much fun when we were out of town. we upgraded her to play with the other dogs and she is so tired and content. They took great care of her and provided a little report card that was adorable! We will definitely be back! Great prices, and great staff!

I can't begin to express my gratitude for the incredible team at Mountain State K9, especially our trainer, Gator. My dog, Franklin, was struggling with reactivity, and I was at my wit's end trying to manage his behavior. After trying multiple training facilities without success, I was feeling hopeless.From the moment we started working with Gator and the team at Mountain State K9, everything changed. Franklin has done a complete 180 in his behavior, and now we're able to focus on FUN training! We've passed through obedience school, aced the Canine Good Citizen test, mastered novice and advanced tricks, breezed through beginner agility, and are now tackling intermediate agility!Gator not only provided invaluable guidance and training for Franklin, but also gave my partner and me the tools we needed to build a successful relationship with our furry friend.I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Jacob, Cole, Patrick, Kari, and Jake – everyone at Mountain State K9 has played a part in creating such a welcoming and supportive environment for us. Their dedication and expertise have truly changed our lives and they have gone from friends to family!I can honestly say I don't know where we would be without Mountain State K9. They've given us hope, support, and the skills necessary to navigate Franklin's reactivity with confidence. I'm endlessly grateful for their guidance and expertise. I had a young lab that did not walk well on a leash, could not walk near other dogs or people without jumping and barking. Gator was our trainer and was able to help us (Tasha and Myself) to understand how to navigate and work together. She is a dream dog now thanks to Mountain State K9. Their facility offers training, boarding and day camps that my dogs are actually excited to go to.

Taken two of our dogs to Mountain State, and I must say the work and dedication to help your fur baby is unmatchable. From home defense to basic obedience to behavior assistance and confidence building, I highly HIGHLY recommend!!

Wow this place is amazing.. Jacob is such an amazing trainer he's like the dog whisperer.. the and love and compassion he gave my dog was so nice... also teaching him how toBe a great dog that listens ... you could tell my dog really trusted him.. and built a bond with him... you walk in the place and all these breeds that are known to be harder breeds were all well behaved and listens to all there trainers.. highly recommend this place! And Jacob! Thanks Jacob and Moutain Stare K9 academy for being great!

Hands down, Mountain State K9 is the best place I have ever been to for training, boarding, day care and friendly people. We have been going to them for over 4 years and I can’t imagine my dog going anywhere else. The employees are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Honestly, I am very crazy about my dog and they have ALWAYS been kind with sending me updates and answering questions. From the front desk team to the trainers to the owners, everyone is absolutely outstanding. Tuesday Day Care is my dog’s favorite day of the week. I cannot actually say enough about the impact they have in our lives. Thank you MSK9.

We have brought our dog here for a training program, for day camp, and for boarding. There is no one else we would trust with our dog and we appreciate the amazing staff and the care they give him! I highly recommend them!

I gave Jacob L an unusual task - teach my six-year-old granddaughter Millie (who wants to be a dog trainer) to train my five-month-old puppy Sugar. Given the age of both wannabe trainer and puppy, Jacob had his hands full. But it was as if he's done this before! Jacob patiently instructed Millie while still maintaining control with Sugar. I especially liked how he interfered as little as possible, so that Millie could learn by doing. Jacob kept the lessons simple and focused. He let Millie make mistakes, then he offered suggestions in a positive way that made Millie want to try again. At home when we practice, Millie reiterates what she has learned with "Jacob said..." I think I'm going to hear that for awhile! Thank you Jacob for your patience, consistency, and enthusiasm.

Boarded our sweet healthy doggo for 6 days. When we picked him up it was clear he had not been regularly let out of his kennel for his stay. He was covered in urine and had licked and eaten his groin and underside until it was raw and bloody. At no point during his stay were we advised that he was not doing well. He had diarrhea for 3 days following his stay from the urine in his system. Requested a call back from the facility to see what went wrong...one missed call back but no other follow-up. Please don't take your dog there. I think they may be fine at training dogs; but not boarding dogs.

We can't say enough good things about this place! We used them for training or 3 goldendoodles. Our trainer was Cole, and he was amazing with the dogs and equally great with helping our kids handle the dogs. Every staff member we encountered was kind and pleasant to deal with. I never had a worry about the dogs being in their care. They even took the initiative to call me when one of our guys started coughing due to some seasonal allergies. All around, excellent place!

I had my dog previously trained by a different training company and had an absolutely awful experience which in turn made my dog extremely aggressive. I have nothing but amazing things to say about MSK9 and everything they have done for myself and my dog. Gator, Patrick, and any other trainer involved with my dog have done an absolutely amazing job and I can’t thank them enough. I now bring my dog to personal play and absolutely love all of the kennel staff and front desk staff that help make my life at work feel stress free as I don’t worry about her at all!! Thank you to everyone at MSK9, I will refer anyone and everyone that will listen!!!

Gator trained my German shepherd rheagar! He did a great job and we now have a dog that fits in with our family. It has helped me bond with him and enjoy him 100% more. I definitely needed more training than the dog! Thank you guys
