I wanted to be able to write a good review.
The warmth of Midtown Auto Sales and somewhat reasonable prices drew us in initially. Especially because they talked about being a family owned shop not interested in gouging people for their money.
We were interested in one vehicle in particular and test drove it twice before making any offers. It should be noted that the car, as well as the price listed was put on the lot before the mechanical inspection was complete. On our second test drive, we noticed the hood shaking, and told the employee we worked with. He said it would be checked out.
When we got a call after the mechanical inspection had been done, they said that everything looked good. When we re-inquired about the hood shaking, the employee said, "Oh, I forgot to ask about that". (Note that the mechanical inspection also didn't pick up on this). So we put in an offer and began negotiating as if it wasn't going to be a major problem.
After re-inspection, the hood issue ended up being something that the dealer noted he "wouldn't feel comfortable even simply welding it back together" because it needed a bigger fix, ie: a new hood altogether.
So, instead of continuing to negotiate based on their double whammy of mistakes and missed inspections, they chose to punish us of keeping their raised price of a few hundred dollars.
True integrity would have said, "you're right, it's our mistake", or "you did mention that before and you shouldn't be punished for our oversight"
Keep your money and shop elsewhere. The reliability of their word and integrity, as well as the quality of their inspection should remain in the back of your mind if you still choose to do business here.

Bought a 2015 Chevy Trax from them thought is was a great car until we brought it home only to have the check engine light come on so I took it to auto zone and the told my a catalytic converter code came up, we took it back and they put a new catalytic converter on and then we brought it home I have a video dated in January and it has oil leaks should have taken it to a dealship then caus there were probably more codes cause now I took it to the dealership and it's 6,200 to repair this car ridiculous almost what we purchased it for. Stay away from this dealership vo somewhere where they actually run through these cars better that's what we get for trying to support small local business only to be screwed this car was for my daughter and now have to go buy a decent car from a real dealership. Ridiculous stay away buyer beware or if you do so buy at your own risk or take the car to a real mechanic before purchase never again learned my lesson.

We had the best experience with Midtown. Zach and Sandy were super friendly and on key. If we ever get another vehicle, we will go there first.

I just bought a 2008 Accord V6 from them that seemed to be in excellent condition with extremely low miles ( almost suspect) payed cash. Not after a routine oil change I find out that they sold me a car with a leaking rack and pinion that going to cost me thousands of dollars to replace, I bought it as is so I’m sure I’m outta gas, now there is another 2007 Accord on their lot with only 76000 miles on it!! It looks clean and I’d love to do a satisfy across trade for my inconvenience, but we’ll see. At this point BUYER BEWARE!

I'm giving this a one star rating just because of the vehicle and their mechanics. Do not trust their mechanics they are clueless. Take the time and have a real mechanic look at a vehicle before you purchase from this dealership. The mechanic personally told me that when you turn off a 2015 Chevy Silverado it resets the computer every time and it needs to cycle through the code so that you can get an emissions test done that is not true. This truck I purchased is the worst vehicle I've ever had I am now going to have to sell it and buy a new vehicle it is so terrible. Either this dealership was trying to hide something in this truck or the place that they bought it from was trying to hide something the computer had been reset for some reason. With all that being said they are super nice people they did give me a good deal I thought at the time but I think the price was low because of the problems but they are super nice people Bottom line have your own mechanic check out a vehicle if you purchase from this dealership don't trust them. I will change my rating if they would fix it.

Gave 4 stars instead of 2 because the staff are really nice and go above and beyond for customer service. Would warn that the place where they currently get their used cars inspected does a poor job. I drove over an hour to see the car that passed their inspection. Then I got my own pre-purchase inspection done elsewhere and found over $3K worth of serious issues including a leaking differential, faulty spark plugs, misalignment, black transmission fluid, and bald tires. Wasted morning due to this dealership not making sure their cars are properly maintained. Would not recommend buying here without a separate inspection performed.

I am confused.. comments and website make it appear as if they offer financing .. but when I called and talked to someone on the phone they said they offer no financing that all their inventory is cash only prices with no financing available.. so what exactly is going on here? LOL due to the very suspicious nature of this.. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE do not fill out their financing form on website.. this may be a scam and tool used to steal your information... as others have commented this seems like a buyer beware kind of place and should probably consider a more legitimate seeming business... i mean really what kind of car dealer doesn't have some kind of in house finance or financing partner?

Called on a Saturday to inquire about a car that I was willing to pay all cash for. The gentleman who answered the phone was friendly but not willing to stay past 1pm (closing time) to help a customer let alone make a sale. Warning to anyone calling 10 minutes before closing time, if you are interested in a car from this dealership, better call AT LEAST 30-45 minutes in advance of closing time!

My parents went to this dealership looking to buy a car however they were treated very poorly and the one that helped was very rude.
