Lot of words coming up, simply put I was treated poorly because I know how a car works and denied work because I would do half of the stuff myself. Stay safe and question any strange charges.
I called asking for estimates on an HVAC repair for a vehicle since I don’t feel like working in the heat and am not getting paid for the job anyways. My first red flag should have been when I was told via an over-the-phone diagnostic that the compressors probably bad and it’s “just protocol” to replace the condenser alongside, running a tab of nearly $1,500. Later I called for a labor estimate after I diagnosed the vehicle and determined the condenser alone would need to be replaced. I mentioned I have the equipment to recharge the refrigerant myself and he quickly said “oh I won’t work on it then, have a good day.” And hung up.
I have a sneaking suspicion they like to prey on folks that don’t know any better.

I had an amazing experience with John and his shop. Was having major AC issues and the dealership ship without even looking at my truck said it was going to be well over $1500.00. I called John, he said bring it down in the morning and he'd take a look. Dropped it off before he opened and he called me within 2hrs and told me the issue and said it would be around $500. I asked if he could get it done today, he said he'd do his best to help me out. Not only did he do for under the price he quoted me, he stayed late for my wife to come get my keys. John and his shop just earned my business for my next issue. We'll done sir. I will be back

What a great place. We took my son's truck in because dash lights and tail light we not working. John, the main mechanic called us within one hour and had already fixed the problem. When we picked it up. He showed us where the fuses are and how to replace them in the future and then didn't even charge us and said this one was on him. This type of service rarely exists today. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this business!

Took my car to get checked for sale and John the owner was probably the despot and smug j*** I have spoken to in long time. I would never trust a know-it-all rude mechanic like him. You want to be talked down to and probably ripped off go here. Good luck.
