Ideal location for a stop on a trip this is the best place you could stop if you need to go swimming at the hot tub caption food go shopping centrally located. But if you were gonna look for a long-term stay, this is an extremely great place long as I’ve stayed here. It’s five months. I enjoyed it very much and very friendly to relax and enjoy and feel like you’re at home or long vacation when you’re out from work.Rooms: Rooms have always been clean plenty of towels. It’s very quiet and anything that you need extra is available.Nearby activities: Old Chicago is right across the parking lot along with across the highway. Is the Texas roadhouse, gas station, and a mall with various multi food.Safety: Cameras, lighting and security, local police department area as well lit plenty of parking across from ChicagoFood & drinks: The offer great breakfast served hot with friendly facing all the fixings that you could enjoy rotating out different types of food all week long there’s plenty of options for vegans vegetarians, there’s milk, juice soda this is a nice place to stay

I was in town with two other co-workers for a conference. Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was decent. Dining area is nice and tidy. Plenty of parking. Front desk personnel was courteous. No issues with hotel and service. But I believe the hotel might be haunted. We all had our own rooms. I stayed in room 107. TV was at full blast each time I turned it on. On 2nd day, came in the room and it was facing the window. Throughout the whole stay, I felt as if someone was in the room watching me. I can usually sleep in the dark, but in this room I couldn’t and I could not sleep facing the window. The lamp next to the bed is too bright to use as a night light. There was another lamp on the desk across the room. Tried to turn it on and the bulb sparked and popped. It was out. So I turned the light on by the door, that light has a softer tone. I was able to sleep. One of my co-workers had a room on the 2nd floor. She also felt something was with her, but we couldn’t explain the feeling. 2nd day, she walked in and her tv was on, but it was just static on the tv. Hotel staff called someone in to try to fix it, but her tv never worked and she gave up. On the same day, she mentioned it seemed as if someone had taken a shower and had left a towel hanging on the shower curtain rail. Hotel staff was informed, they said they checked the activity on the door to see if it registered someone while we were gone, but they said there was no activity. She didn’t sleep well, she kept waking up almost every hour of the night. 3rd day I decide to look up the hotel for any news on it. A man was killed on the 2nd floor. If you read some of the other reviews you’ll find a man stayed in room 219 switched to another room and states the drawers had a mind of their own, opening and closing by themselves. Others report things gone wrong in this same room, room 219. Toilet to window issues. It was an interesting stay to say the least. Good luck!!Nearby activities: Plenty of nice restaurants, some within walking distance. Movie theater within a block.

Man I wish every hotel had the staff this hotel does. Absolutely friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast was better than most and constantly being refilled. Will stay again for sure. Sadly the best asset they have Matthew left for another job. He was awesome. And the TV shows you too log into streaming apps!!!!Rooms: After working 16 hours all I wanted was a bath and a cold room. I got both. The sheets were cool and the blanket was very warm. Love loveNoteworthy details: Matthew was so helpful and welcoming. Double his pay and get him back lol.The breakfast has SO many options. It was great!

I'm still trying to figure out where Fairfield fits in the Marriott lineup. Near the bottom, I think. That's not to say this hotel is bad; it's just a little run down. Energetic management could fix it up in a hurry. The bed was fine, but I'm not a fan of the pillows. Somehow there's too little pillow if you use just one, and too much if you use two. I never made my peace with them. The front-desk folks were invariably nice. I especially appreciated the free chocolate chip cookies! The free breakfast was nothing special, but it was fine. The "breakfast sandwiches" (think downsized Sausage McMuffin) were my favorite breakfast item.

The hotel staff is over the top one of the nicest ones I stay with. The hotel definitely needs some TLC and updates, but even with that said it is very well kept and the staff does a great jobRooms: Rooms were clean. Had a cabinet that the drawers rolled open, a real shin-breaker. Seem to have a glitch in the TV making it hard to sit back and watch a show. But again the room was super clean and very comfortable.Nearby activities: A little piece of pub next door some easy walk across the parking lot for a good meal and a beer. There's also a shopping mall just at the end of the street. Mall has a great ice cream shopWalkability: The public area is reasonable I felt safe walking in the evening other than a couple of restaurants in the mall there's not a whole lot to walk to close by that I could see in the evening

Stayed for a quick overnight trip and this met every need. It was clean, well kept, beds were comfortable, breakfast had a nice offering, and staff were friendly. Definitely will be staying here again.

This place is an absolute dump. Since Yelp is requiring a longer review, I'll give a few reasons as to why I can't come back. - backs up to a freeway, and the windows are 50 years old, which have minimal to NO, sound dampening qualities. - entire place smells of mold, dirt, and a compilation of other not so welcome smells. - room has furniture that is dated, worn, damaged, and no longer functional. - pillows and comforter smell and have very visible stains. - condition of the property needs some serious revisiting. Wallpaper throughout is peeling, stains on carpet, walls, bedding and pillows, countertops falling off, etc. this place is just a dump. - I paid $170 for this place but was worth $70. You're better off going to the Motel 6 across the street.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing. I was having a bad day and he cheered me up. He even bought me a Dr pepper. ? I headed straight to work after checking in, so I wasn't for sure what my room would be like until the next morning when I got off. When I arrived at my room I couldn't ask for much better. The room was ice-cold with blackout curtains. Perfect for sleeping. They do have breakfast. It's the same as most other hotels. The eggs were a little more done than most times and the biscuits were not quite as hard. I would stay again if in the area.

Expensive for a small outdated room. Service upfront by new host was good.
