I had the unfortunate experience of being scammed by someone impersonating my bank (not bank of Colorado) and since I also have bank of Colorado accounts I went into the branch to discuss any risks to those accounts and my identity and what I could do about it. I was so fortunate to work with Allie at this branch. She got to work quickly getting info on how to protect my account (which thankfully Bank of Colorado has a program to monitor my accounts, ss# etc) got me set up with new accounts and was so pleasant helping me turn this situation around. She had all the answers to my questions and was an absolute joy to work with. I am so thankful for her care and expertise today. Thank you Allie!!

My boyfriend has an account here and I wanted to cash a check he wrote me. I had to go through the drive through as the Lobby isn't opened on Saturday. I pulled up and they tell me I can't be in lane 3 I have to be in lane 1 or 2. I move send the stuff and wait for a little. They then call me and tell me they are calling the person on the account and other people associated with the account without telling me first. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THEM CALLING MY BOYFRIEND AS HE IS WORKING NIGHTS OUT OF TOWN. If he was available he wouldn't have to write me a check! He has wrote me checks before the same amount so I don't know how you didn't see that. This is why I don't use banks I use credit unions.

1st off I do bank with them and LOVE them because they have definitely worked with me more then once. But this story isn't about me..I work with homeless people. My job closes to clients at 3pm. It THUNDER STORMING.. A client pulled up at 430 pm thinking that we had overnight shelter. (Dropped off by a random guy who saw an old man walking in the rain and wanted to help.. bless you sir)We do not have overnight shelter.. I asked him if he had any money. He said no. My coworker confirmed that he Does have money in his bank of Colorado account, he just doesn't have his debit card or ID. I know that this branch is amazing so without any real hope I called to see if they could help him access his money. They confirmed the clients account and that funds was available (after talking to him directly of course) and let us know there was a live ATM that he could access money at to get a hotel room. I called a hotel we worked with and they agreed to accept the client for a night with no ID.. without the AMAZING customer service, or indeed the fact that the client banks here, he would be sleeping on the street tonight. Excellent work BOC.. I Was already a fan, but this is Amazing!

So I wake up this morning to do some of my bills and come to realize my savings account at the bank is just gone. No explanation no email no text. Just no account. Obviously, I contacted them. Spoke with them about the issue to no avail. The customer service representative with whom I spoke was lazy, uncaring, passive aggressive, and smarmy. In truth, I decided on the bank of Colorado several years ago due strictly to a lack of options in Estes Park. I’ve been both a banker and a stockbroker and this is not how you do this. I personally have five different friends who have left the bank within the past six months because of issues like this. Appears maybe I should’ve known better. Never been blown off by a bank like this in my life.UPDATEI did hear back from leadership and they were earnest in their attempts to investigate and make things right. I appreciated the effort, but I am electing to leave. The bank no longer serves my needs, but at least someone there cared enough to call me at home to resolve. One star now three.

It's hard for me to stress how important it is a small business owner to work with a local bank. It really makes all the difference in customer service. At this location specifically, Matt in the drive-through was very helpful

Terrible management they Illegally transferred money out of my checking account due to their error. management won’t correct tell me it’s not their fault. When actually the manager herself and her employee Matt went about things without making a phone call and just saying we’re going to do it. This manager should not even have a job. Terrible terrible service thank you bank of Colorado

This bank is amazing! The manager is extremely friendly and helpful! I was in a bit of a pickle and panicked, she made me feel so at ease and went out of her way to help me! Thank you soooo much!!

The employees at Bank of Colorado are always welcoming and helpful. It feels like the television show Cheers when you walk in because everybody knows your name! The service is top notch. I love a local bank and have found a wonderful one in Bank of Colorado.
