Loved this place! We booked a dog-friendly, non-smoking queen suite. The living area had a small kitchenette, a futon, a fireplace and a table we used to play endless games. It was very clean and comfortable. We walked to local restaurants and over to Point Park. Grand Lake is a fun mountain town and I wish we could have stayed a few more days.

Liked staying here very much except for running out of toilet paper at 3am, which was super mega not fun! With some more attention to room cleaning/stocking procedures, this place is otherwise great.Walkability: Extremely central and walkable to everything in town and the lake.

Made this reservation via Travelocity for the availability, price and pet (dog) friendly. Great location in Grand Lake. Katrina and Kuba were very accommodating and helpful on phone calls prior to our stay, and during check-in and checkout. Room was basic but clean, which is important! Used the Hot Tub which was covered and relaxing to my tired and sore muscles after a days driving. Coffee maker in the room. No breakfast in hotel. But directly across the street a coffee / food location with breakfast and lunch options. Recommend The Spirit Lake Lodge! Great staff!Nearby activities: Your directly on main street Grand Lake. Restaurants and shops walking distance.Walkability: Just on the edge of Grand Lake. Easy to main street for walkabouts. Once you're at the hotel, you can park your car and walk around Grand Lake downtown and by the lake.

We had such a lovely stay! The room was perfect for us. We had two adults and a toddler (who slept in her travel crib between our beds). Small mini fridge and microwave, good for leftovers. We asked to have the bathroom door sanded because it was too hard to close and made noise and it was done while we were out. Stayed 3 nights and they offered to clean the room because that is the policy, but honestly we have a lot of personal stuff everywhere with the toddler so we declined! They took our trash out and we got extra towels when we needed and that was sufficient for us.I think things may have been recently updated? Anyway, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable in a hotel we have stayed in and it was so nice and easy to sleep! Room 9, just at the top of the stairs. The location is perfect for easy walking access all over town. Ample free parking too.We can't wait to go back!Nearby activities: Don't forget the timed entry/RMNP permits also apply to the small waterfall hike at the outskirt of town. (Also for us, this was too far to walk, good thing we drove out). Super super close to main entrance to RMNP, we left at 8:35 and were in the park by 9:47, even though there was a small line of 5-6 cars waiting to get in when we arrived.Walkability: Excellent for Grand Lake!

We stayed here last-minute when visiting Grand Lake with our dog. The front desk lady was really friendly and helpful and offered my husband a military/veterans discount. The room was a little dated with a noisy a/c unit, but it was clean and comfortable. My only “complaint” is that there is nowhere on the property for your dog to relieve itself. The front of the motel is all concrete and asphalt and in the back is a nice grassy area but they have a sign saying “no dogs allowed”. We ended up walking two blocks to the library just so our dog could go potty.Rooms: Simple, a little dated, but clean. Some are pet-friendly.Nearby activities: The lake is about two blocks away. There is also a mini-golf course within a half-mile, a library a couple blocks away (where they also do concerts outside, occasionally), and the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is within 5 miles.Walkability: This place is on the main road into town with several shops and restaurants and the lake within a short walk.

Perfect location in the middle of town. Room and property are clean and well maintained. Good sound insulation as the room was very quiet. Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend.

We continue to come here, several years now. I just like it. Michael & Lauren are excellent hosts. And they have pet friendly rooms, that's a requirement for us.
