I've had Wiggys sleeping bags and poncho liners, when he still made them ,for close to 20 years. The Supplex poncho liners have lasted for years being machine washed frequently and the fabric and sewing are totally intact. I own 4 of the sleeping bags and I can tell you they hold up nicely after laundering and dry quickly hung up to dry. They are relatively thicker and heavier than other competitors synthetic bags, but they are also warmer. I think the other brand bags are overrated in terms of temperature. The other bags are also Climashield so we are comparing apples with apples. The Wiggys bags have much larger and durable zippers. #10. My Sierra Designs and North Face bags use small coil zippers which are not as durable. I think you get more bang for your buck with the Wiggys bags. They're all good quality bags, but the Wiggys are rated more conservatively and are ridiculously durable. The Wiggys bags are also Made In USA, which I support.

Best cold weather gear you will find anywhere, and at reasonable prices. The only American made manufacturer of sleeping bags there is. If you want to stay warm, Wiggys is what you need.

BUYER BEWARE!! Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered a bag from their website and the shipping was pretty quick. Only to open the package and see the bag width was off by several inches from the website description. I called the company and that’s when the fun started. I had a couple general product questions to make sure I fit the right bag on next delivery only to deal with the two most rude people I’ve ever spoke to on the phone. I assume it’s a husband and wife that own and operate this business just by the level of comfort they both have speaking so rude to customers on the phone. It was so bad it’s almost comical for the fact that you think you’re going to be on some hidden camera show. Then you realize it’s real when they make you pay for shipping even though their website description is wrong AND charge a 25% restocking fee. So because of their misinformation I’m out $70.00 with the bonus of getting talked down to and disrespected because I should dare question their dishonest process. After getting hung up on while trying to get my money back I contacted my bank to have them take action on it. I can’t say they have a bad product because I never got to try any. But I’d rather sleep on the cold wet ground vs put a penny in the pocket of people like this!!

Sleeping bag was one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I was having a lot of zipper issues. Eventually the zipper just broke. I called to see if they would fix it, he was very rude and not friendly. Then when I brought it in they wouldn't do anything about it. Instead told me to just buy a new bag. If a sleeping bag is that expensive the warranty should cover the stupid zipper.

Customer service is to be desired, I spoke with the owner about the weight of a bag and was amazed with his rudeness…if you’re looking for answers I wouldn’t call as they don’t have them. I do love they are an American made product, but a simple hello, and answer would be nice. I’ll buy else where.

I purchased one of these sleeping bags years ago and it still is amazing. I was a scout master for years and spent many nights in this bag and it has held up admirably. I'm a bigger guy and they made a custom larger bag for me that was a perfect size. My only regret is I didn't realize which side zipper I was used to and I put it on the opposite side than what I was accustomed to using.

There are lots of companies that make great products and Wiggy's may be one of them, but their customer support is not good. I'm especially frustrated as someone who lives in Colorado (Front Range) that they won't ship in state. They will ship out of state for free so their recommended solution is to ship it to someone out of state and then have them ship it back to you in Colorado. What?! I guess it has something to do with taxes? I don't own a company that sells/ships products, but there has to be a reasonable solution to this problem that doesn't put the burden on the customer. Needless to say, I've had a whole fiasco trying to get this package simply because they won't solve this problem. If they weren't the ONLY company that makes over-boot hip waders, I wouldn't have even bothered to do business with them. I won't be buying any gear from them going forward. There are too many other companies with stellar customer service to bother with Wiggy's.

I bought some close-out sleeping bags from them online about ten years ago. They have a good reputation as being non toxic, and I needed non toxic bags for my family. That part was all good. Then when we noticed that the insulation had migrated leaving gaps in the insulation, I sent them back for help under their lifetime warranty. Once my bags arrived at Wiggys, I was treated brusquely by the owner. He didn't belief had bought the bags from him. I sent a copy of the invoice that I had kept in my email but he couldn't figure out where these bags had come from. They had a wiggys tag on them, but he suspected a company of selling as fakes. He looked at my invoice and fumed that the bags weren't his own and said he'd have to send them back to me instead of fixing them. I paid a lot to send them out quickly, but wasn't even offered anything for my trouble. I did nothing wrong but he offered no service for my effort to get warranty coverage. The least he could have done was offer a minor discount offer to replace the bags. But he didn't do anything but complain that he didn't know where those bags were from and say he'd return them. He did return them, paying return shipping thankfully. We have enjoyed the bags though. So you take your chances with service here. I don't know how else to think about it.

Wiggy's makes a quality product IN AMERICA. I ordered a Wiggy's Ultra Light (Long/Wide) for a trip to Utah. I was unsure if the bag would arrive in time, but Wiggy's shipping was prompt and I got my bag with plenty of time to spare. As soon as I got the bag I hopped inside of it to see what it was like. It surpassed my expectations. I was simply hoping to find a decent bag that fit me (6'6''). What I got was not a decent bag, it was an excellent bag. The material is durable and the insulation is warm. Also, the lining material is good. It is not some cheap polyester, or cheap fleece that clings to your skin. I'm impressed by the quality of the bag. It may not be flashy, It may not be some new design, but that's because it works. Why change it? It is American quality from an American company.Good Job Wiggy's!As a bonus, even the dogs like it!

Bad customer service came to pick up a sleeping bag a friend ordered and the lady up front was not very nice. My rating 1-10 I give them a 3 in customer service and 9 in having what my friend wanted.

I wish i could give zero stars. Jerry, the owner, is quite possibly the rudest individual i have ever dealt with in my life. I was just trying to make a simple purchase and he was completely condescending. I asked a quality question about his waders. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

Extremely rude. I picked up 5 large bags of order and was treated poorly. I will not be supporting this business in the future. No hello, no thank you... it was as if I was inconveniencing them by giving them business.
