We bought the top of the line bed here 2 years ago. The service in the store was great. The bed is worth the $15000 we paid for it. The problem is their warranty. We called because the button on the side is coming off, and the mattress is off center from the frame. They say they will come look at it for 150, and if it needs any parts, it's another 150 each trip. I have never heard of paying a service call for a warranty issue. Even though I love the bed, if I knew how their warranty works, I would have looked elsewhere. It's probably the most expensive bed out there. You think they could do better than this.

This is a shout out to Xavier and Aaron who came and set up our bed. They were on time. SUPER POLITE!!!! Showed us how to use all the apps. They were awesome. Oh...and the bed is great too. First night was a little rough, but after playing with the settings and a modification we are sleeping well.

The salesman was truthful, informing us of which sleep number beds sold the most and their various benefits. No fast talk, just the facts. Our experience with American Mattress Factory in Grand Junction was not honest and not informative. Just 3 years ago, we purchased a Serta Hybrid that developed a 3/4 of an inch dip. We were not told at the time of the sale that this king-sized mattress needed to be rotated monthly. We requested a replacement, were told that we were "breaking in the mattress" unevenly. A good mattress does not need to be "broken in." As far as I know, Sleep Number is the only mattress that is not rotated. Thank goodness! We are in our 70's and unable to rotate a king mattress.

The positives:I cannot say enough good things about the Sleep Number bed. It has changed my quality of life. I had a less than one year old big name brand bed previously. I woke up with back pain all the time. Additionally I track my sleep with my Samsung watch and Samsung Health. Despite cleaning up my sleep hygiene I was scoring in the 60s consistently. Since getting the Sleep Number, my scores have been in the 80s and no more back pain.The delivery experts were some of the nicest and most professional delivery people I have ever had in my house. I was extremely impressed. They exceeded my expectations.The Cons:The people at the store are not at all helpful. They pointed at signs which had the same information I had already learned online. What questions they did answer turned out to be wrong. The incorrect information created problems later on which no one at the store has yet to even apologize for let alone try to correct. I was given the customer service number to call which was only a step better because they did say they were sorry, but had no inclination to make anything better. It appears Sleep Number relies pretty heavily on the fact that you will never want to sleep on another bed rather than give you warm fuzzies if something goes wrong which I suppose is a valid business model. I'm also guessing things don't go wrong very often based on reviews.That said, unless you just want to lay on the different models, I see no benefit to going to the store verses ordering online.

"Mike" at this location has the worst customer service I have ever received. The bed is great but not cheap so you would think that would come with some level of customer service. He is so rude, has terrible phone etiquette, wouldn't let me speak with another representative, did everything he could to NOT help and NOT listen, spoke over me, raised his voice at me, and then hung up on me. I was shocked to say the least. My mother wanted this bed after she was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. She passed away in August of 2023 and I found myself attempting to move all of her belongings from out of state. Being a tempurpedic gal myself, I did not know how Intensive it is to move a sleep number so I paid the $250 to have it broken down on top of the $8,000 that was paid for the mattress. I waited for my 3 hour window and had the neighbor living next door to the vacant house where my mom lived (and where the bed is located) ready to let the team in when they arrived. All I asked of Mike was to let the delivery driver know to call the neighbors number upon arrival or to call me so I can let the neighbor know they have arrived. Again, the house is vacant and had they just showed up and rung the doorbell it would appear nobody is there and again, according to sleep number policy I would be charged an additional amount to have no one there on arrival even though I prepared to have someone there. Mike basically responded with "well I'm new and nobody is here to help me (even though he put me on hold to ask someone else) and basically they gave you a window so it's your problem to figure out". I couldn't believe he was so unhelpful. This whole situation has been so stressful and I'm still mourning the loss of my mom. I then called Courtney at the corporate office and she was AMAZING! I wish Mike could have just given me the corporate number to start so I didn't have to talk to him. She truly is a role model for customer service and I already sent feedback through the corporate web page about her. Please make sure she is recognized. She was so kind, empathetic, solved my problem right away, listened to me vent, and followed up so quickly. Had it not been for her, I would have just put the sleep number in the dump and done everything I can to make sure nobody else buys from this location. Especially from Mike if he is in sales. Be prepared to give him a nice commission and never get any help from him if something goes wrong. Do yourself a favor and just go straight to corporate if you have any issues. Jared was very helpful. I was hoping we could get the bed sooner than the 20th. It is for my dad and we are moving t9 assisted living and can't move him until he gets a bed.

spoke to jarred on the phone, probably the best costumer service iv recieved from a retailer. super knowledgable and helpful but also really nice and upbeat made me excited to shop theere thanks jarred you rock!

Make sure and read everything before you initial or sign anything. The mattress has not approached our expectations. The settings change and my wife ends up some mornings in a hole and has to reprogram. There is a healthy fee of $249 to return the mattress. (Which frankly is an overpriced poorly engineered air mattress) They will not let you return the adjustable base so that is almost $2000 we’ll never see use or see again. It is listed in their exclusions, but conveniently never mentioned. A total disappointment. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This bed is just terribleThe redesign on it is clearly a marketing scheme from the company to make customers have to buy the base with itOtherwise why would they design it with the pump and tubes directlyUnder the mattress sides?The king size is “ NOT” a true kingI am beyond angry because we purchased a whole bedroom set based on the fact that I thought the bed would cover the whole platform base because the base I purchased is exactly 76x80The Sleep Number King bed is only 75x79 and after more than a week of trying to see if it would still expand it hasn’tSo now the platform underneath is clearly visible and it looks ridiculousNo one wants to spend thousands of dollars on a bed and a platform base to have it look horrible .So to me this is “ false advertising”My husband barely fits on a king lengthwise and now it’s even worseThe associate who sold us they bed “ never” mentioned the fact that now you have to buy the remote separately.I didn’t find out until laterWhat if I was not tech savvy or I was purchasing this for my elderly mother and she doesn’t know how to use those features on her phone ?Another marketing ploy for the company to makemore moneyI have woken up with pain everyday in my back and hips since“ trying”to sleep on this bedThis is their return policy from their website so now returning it will cost even more money and this bed was not worth the price they charge:You are responsible for the return shipping/delivery fees associated with returning or exchanging any product to us. The Home Delivery return fee is $249 plus tax.Overall this company has disappointed me in so many waysI will be making video reviews of this bed and posting on social media and telling everyone I know to “ never” buy a sleep number bed.

The sales staff was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. We tried all the beds and AJ provided answers to all of our questions. We got a great price on the bed that fit us and our budget best.
