Yall have new items more than what they are priced at from their appropriate stores. Ridiculous. Selling broken toys all the time but then won't buy anything from me and all the toys are in better shape than stuff sold in store this place is getting worst than goodwill with prices....

Absolutely awful. Theyre a scam i gave them brand new condition toys well over $200 new and they gave me $15. Not to mention some of the toys and baby items i brought were great condition but they claimed they were “outdated” when i bought one from there less than a year ago and the others were the same condition if not better then what was on the shelfs and more in date. They also raised their prices on certain items better off thrifting from local thrift shops.

I can no longer comfortably shop at this store because of their clothing rack heights and refusal for a very reasonable accommodation.I don’t like to tell strangers about some of my daily struggles but I think awareness to this matter might benefit somebody else with a disability in the future… I have a progressive neuromuscular disorder that greatly impacts the use of my upper arms. It also affects my balance, endurance ability to bend or lift length I can stand and so forth. It’s challenging to admit these struggles to myself and keep finding out the hard way that I’m able to do less and less as time goes by.. however I was downright humiliated today when trying to shop for clothes for both my kids. After about 10 minutes of trying to look at the clothes my arms started to give out, as their racks are so high that I am extending even trying to look by “grabbing and moving” the clothes by the bottom.. then trying to at least look at the lower one but having to bend so my legs and back started wearing out too.Knowing I couldn’t do it I went to the front where one of four employees behind the counter was and asked if I could use their step ladder to look and gave the name of my disability and the problem I was facing.. she looked to another employee working who also heard ( young woman, early 20’s?, brown hair between chin and collar length with a middle nose hoop ) who just said “no its a liability “ and that was that. There was zero offer from any of the four employees to help in anyway, zero empathy in the response, just No.I was so humiliated I wanted to just leave but didn’t want to embarrass myself further. I’m 5’7 btw and have my own step stool in my vehicle but it would be too short to help either and its plastic and I was afraid to ask if I could even use it because the way she responded.I ended up going to the shoe area to sit and take a break but someone else was there so pushed myself to last a tiny bit longer until the other customers who heard the interaction at the front would be done checking out and I wouldn’t have to see the look of pitty on their faces for me.. so it all ended with me in tears from pain and physically shaking from my muscles giving out.I’ve been a customer for 7 years and plan on going in one more time to use up my 25$ reward on toys and that will have to be my last shopping experience here because of the downright refusal to even try to help…I’m a reasonable person and could understand why it could be a liability but why couldn’t anyone offer to help? Or even say “I’m Sorry, but it’s a liability “ If it’s a liability so I don’t “fall” and sue I think if I were a sue happy person I would have just been handed the golden ticket and could sue over discrimination or I could “wreck because my arms were too tired because of the denial of accommodation “ I’m not going to do that of course but just food for thought about the sue happy people in the world.

I absolutely adore this store. All their stuff is either new or gently used and clean. The clothes are organized well, very cute selection, and they have a great variety. They also have shoes, hats, toys, and just little extras all over. I will most definitely be a returning customer. Oh and they also have a rewards program where you can earn points for a percentage off. If you're a mama and you haven't been here, go check it out (Daddy's too).

Do you guys honor any of your deals? Because every damn time I come in trying to buy anything with your deals, you find some excuse for them to not be honored. When you have the 10 bodysuits for $10 and I find 10 of them in that specific area, I expect that price to be honored. But no, you don’t honor it and your employees have attitudes. You also don’t give people any money for their stuff. You’re so damn picky, yet 90% of what I bring in is stuff that is brand new with tags, or I bought from you and still has your tags on it, but you won’t accept it. Or I find shoes that are beyond worn out and no one would buy them, yet you won’t take the shoes with no wear in them. You sell clothes with giant stains. I try to sell you a stroller that’s worth $400, which I know you’re going to turn around and sell for probably close to $200, because I’ve seen those exact strollers in your store for that price, and you only offer $20. That’s such a scam. You’re not consistent with anything and your rip people off. You’re a joke.

Great children’s resale store. It’s clean and the staff are nice. They have quite a lot of clothing inventory and much of it is quality and prices are fair.

If I could give zero I would!!! Brought in freshly washed and even folded clothes. They spent probably less than five minutes looking at them and than claimed that they had an odor. You could smell the lavender fresh scent we use at the house to clean them coming off the clothes. When I asked them to elaborate they just said the staff was highly trained in smelling?!? They would not take them and just said to go wash them again. I know my family and friends warned me about going here because they have quite a bad reputation but I still wanted to give it a go. Last time I'll be shopping here!!!! Don't go not worth it! Also if they do take anything it's the bare minimum and they hardly trade . Be wary of this place

It would be zero if that was an option. Went in to get my daughter bigger shoes, and I brought in a box of perfectly good, well cared for, no stains, no rips clothing, as well as CLEAN shoes that my little girl simply grew out of. One of the associates tried to tell me that in particular a pair of pants were infant size, when the tag clearly states they are 3T!! My daughter is 4 years old!! They gave me almost everything back and told me there was too much wear and tear and they were out of date. Meanwhile, I'm going through their shoe boxes in the back and there were MULTIPLE pairs of shoes that were dirty, stained, missing shoe laces etc. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time or money here. Also, looks like I'm not the only one who is extremely disappointed in this business. I am a small business owner myself and love to support local small businesses, but I will NOT be back. I will also be telling all my local friends and family as well to stay far far away from this establishment!! Shame on you Once Upon A Child, you just lost a good customer.

I have had a wonderful experience here, had a great luck selling our babies clothes, everything has been great. Until I drove 35 minutes tonight to drop off a grocery bag full of clothes, over an hour before closing and was told that they aren't accepting any other clothes at the time. Pretty frustrating, there is no acceptance deadline on the website or posted in the store.I have no issue with the employees saying they need some time to look through the clothes they have before accepting more, but I feel like there should be a cutoff time posted somewhere so I didn't waste my time.?Again, the store has been a big blessing to me, however I am bummed that this wasn't posted anywhere.

Don’t waste time trying to sell baby items you truly believe are well conditioned or ready for another precious baby coming into the world.Stopped by today to sell items, and they not only wasted my time, but I’m extremely financially hard with money for food or gas…..and they only accepted 2 stupid books and paid me .60 for it.I used to get money for my stuff and loved their sales, but today…..and a couple previous times selling, not at all.Very sad, frustrated, and they for a while anyways have lost my high reviews and respect.(You don’t accept perfectly good functioning strollers if the foam is on underside and from normal wear torn slightly. )

I bought a mini mouse four wheeler last year from them that my daughter maybe ride three times. Went today to resell it to them in the exact same condition I bought it from them and they said they couldn't puchase it. I am irate to say the least! Do not recommend this store at all if that is their way of doing business! ?????
