I made the long drive out to Mattas Marine & RV to check out a Lance truck camper. I wanted to sit in a 960 to get a feel for its size. I wanted to sit on the couch, bring up the specs on my phone, and walk around the space, dreaming about what it would be like to use the space. I did not want the pressure of a salesmen sitting there staring at me, asking me questions(which is exactly what he started off with asking about my truck). When I was asked to be left alone with my wife, I was told, “it’s a $90,000 camper, no”.
I almost drop this much cash on a similar camper last week but needed to feel more sure. These campers depreciate fast. If they had a camper I was sure I liked, I’d come to them and ask questions and see if we could work out a deal. Instead, I’ll never come to this place again. The salesman showed a lack of respect. Every other RV place I have ever been to has been very accommodating in checking out the RV’s in peace. Maybe he made a judgement on me because I drove up in a Tesla? I’m not sure. This is the first time I ever had a salesmen not allow us to be alone in a RV with my wife to discuss the space and its uses. My wife is very unsure about such a small space, and I feel the need to show her what I like about the trade offs…without a 3rd parting stairing at us.
So, just know that this place will not let you check out their stock without a chaperone. I guess it’s like a sports car dealership asking you not to sit in the car. This place will not get any of my money willingly. Neither will Lance now by proxy.

Came down from North Dakota to purchase a Lance 1172 truck camper, not only did Brad and Greg give me a great deal, they treated me with dignity and respect. After a trip to Alaska and back across Canada the camper had some warranty issues that were taken care of over a phone call with Cindy who guided we through the issues. This is a great business that cares about their customers! Would definitely recommend them to family and friends!

We tried to order our 4 season sticker for our Lance since pandemic. The dealer were we bought our Lance was not helpful. We found out about Mattas Marine when we camped at Colorado National monument. We requested sticker and thought they probably won't do it as it's too little profit for them. To our surprise, Cindy called us back that she received it from Lance and mailed it to us. We are so happy to finally have it! Thanks again, Cindy.

Attempted to contact Mattis via their website. Three attempts to contact sales when we were thinking about purchasing a new Lance, one attempt to schedule service. Zero replies.

BEWARE!If you're considering consignment with Mattis you should know..the agreement says you will receive your fund within 30 day's, they mean it. I received my funds exactly 30 day's after the boat was delivered.2 weeks after the boat was delivered I went to Mattis to inquire about the funds and Greg the owner was in the front area and without saying a word about being a customer he said and I quote..you know we have 30 day's to pay you and who told you it would be sooner. He should have said something like.. thanks for giving us a chance to sell your boat but in today's environment the bank's aren't funding for 30 day's but he did not and as a condescending owner that talks down to his customers I warn anyone looking to be a Mattis customer. Donny was great and did a great job till he got involved with the monies.Sorry to say, they lost me as a customer and anyone else should be warned that Greg the owner doesn't care about customer service!VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Bought our Lance camper NEW from this place several years ago. We have had nothing but problems with the camper. They strongly encouraged us to buy an extended warranty, which covers was supposed to cover everything yet when we took our camper in for repair of things that were wrong from day one, none of it was covered by the warranty. Go to Denver or anywhere else to buy your campers or trailers. Both brothers are rude and one even told us that we were poor negotiators and his brother took us for what he could get. What???? He flat out admitted they rip you off once you buy from them. Again, pass this place up and go ANYWHERE else.

We had an excellent experience here at Mattas buying an RV. We came in under prepared and the staff here was awesome and very accommodating. Highly recommend, great buying experience for us!

Consigned our Lance 2375 travel trailer here in Oct 2021. They warned us at the time it might be difficult to sell it before spring 2022 and they were right. They had it sold in February 2022 however and we just picked up the check. We felt they gave a fair deal on it and they made it a good experience to sell with them.
