It is just for sparkle for rich people. What was paid for at the fancy jewelry shop has 1/10th the value. I didn't have the heart to tell my mom that her $12,000 diamond and sapphire cocktail ring is only worth $2500. So if you have sparkle just laying around in the safe deposit box....wear it and enjoy it or donate it to Heirlooms for Hospice...”
