Horrible experience all around. The guy behind the counter refused to help in any way, shape or form. Even when my wife got someone on the phone from their customer service, he still refused to help and ended up canceling our rental. We ended up going thru Enterprise. Those guys are 5 star.

Rented car, returned filled wirh gas, no damage. My bank card was charged with a larger amount. Then a larger amount was charged and my bank notified my phone. Customer service was little help. I do not recommend.

Just got a voicemail about a windshield rock chip on a car I returned more than two weeks ago, and that they'll be filing a claim- with no real way to call back to discuss. Was smooth enough on the front and back end of the rental process- returned before business hours, got my receipt from my return once they opened, etc, and now this?

I was rented a car with pre-existing damage. I noted the damage and called it in to Hertz right away.
I reiterated the damage to the agent upon return and offered photographic evidence.
Months later I am being pursued by Hertz for pre-existing damage to the car and getting the run-around from Hertz.
BEWARE - I'd go with other car companies when here.
**EDIT: The owner responded with a "link" to contact them that is not a hyperlink and provides no way to rectify the issue.

Lost a discontinued part for my truck that is impossible to find and Maryland has been an amazing help in finding it as I may have left it in their car. Great customer service and great rental cars.

No much help offered, why well for my daughters wedding we rent a car first day traveling the engine light came up. We travel 1 hour back to the airport to change the car, when we call no other option was given. We use 1 hour of our time to resolve their issues. We were given a compact car, small car, for Colorado terrains, mountains, rough roads. It was a disaster the tires light came up, we have to stop and put air in the tires. Cars w no maintenance, horrible experience.

The absolute worst automated attendant. THEY WILL NOT TALK TO YOU, NOBODY WILL TALK TO YOU...no option exists that will get you to a live person. They just want to push you to the website or the app. The worst way to treat customers.....
