A few minutes off 70, but well worth the drive! Super cute, updated, privately owned motel with CLEAN, comfortable, quiet rooms. Old school vibes but very well maintained. We had a great stay at this awesome little owner operated motel. Every thing from check in to the cleanliness of the room showed pride of ownership. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Grand Junction.

Back in 2021, they refused to let my exes and I stay there (it would probably be a different result if I tried alone, my exes kept getting kicked out of other motels in Grand Junction so it probably wasn't even me as I was the chill, quiet, clean and reserved one, you can tell just by me smelling better). Just not very happy to be yelled at as I have C-PTSD and was already in an extremely stressful situation. I forgive the people here though because I am sure they yelled because of my exes, not me! Just please, when you have to tell people to leave, don't tell unless you absolutely have to, otherwise, it is what it is and I fully understand your reasoning!Nearby activities: Dollar Tree, Big Lots, a gym, and a Shamrock Store (don't go to the shamrock store though) across the streetSafety: They don't allow unsafe people to stay, that's probably why my exes weren't allowed.Walkability: It's on North Ave so perfect for going placesFood & drinks: Not forgetting about them having a literal vending machine outside with cold drinks.

I stayed 3 nights at the Grand Junction Palomino Inn 9-8-11 for an annual bike event. I'd stayed at the Palomino hotel numerous times over the years. The rooms are nice and large, king size bed, fridge, microwave, very fast WiFi and quiet. Check-in was fast and loved talking with the manager of the Inn who was from Poland and she had remembered me staying there in the past. The bed is extremely comfortable (memory foam, just like home), good cable TV and WiFi worked very well, even in my room at the far back of the Inn. I highly recommend the Palomino Inn for staying in Grand Junction and I will return next year.

Iwona at the front desk is a true gem. She was incredibly helpful and understanding. She went out of her way to help me. If I stay in Grand Junction again, I would stay here because of her. Be nice to Iwona, she deserves it!!!

Very nice older Motel. Our room was very clean and decorated real homie. The very nice lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with directions around town.I would recommend staying here. It is a nice place.

The rooms where cute, clean, and spacious. the sevice was great, and the bed was amazing and comfortable. The only problems we had where that the shower head could be better, and getting there was long but leaving was a quick easy get out. But overall it was a good place to stay for the night.

Great place. Vey clean, quiet. Price is great. Had a mini frig, microwave coffee maker.. The lady that helped us was friendly. I had booked 2 rooms thru a booking site and for some reason one got cancelled. She got us a room with no problems. Will stay there again when we go to Grand Junction.
