Well here’s a new review of GJFCU. A few months ago they asked me to remove my review as it “made them look bad.” Yet they continue to treat people like dirt.I had a loan with GJFCU, which I paid off after calling for a pay off. My mistake I didn’t get it in writing. So I sent GJFCU a check for almost 6,000$ to pay this off.Months later they were reporting this account as delinquent. Come to find out they failed to include 282$ of interest which should have been included in the pay off quote.So being out of state I reached out to family in the GJ area and had them personally go down and pay this account off for good. This after a conversation with their senior loan officer/ collector. He advised I send my family member directly to him to address this situation. Well I paid them off for good, yet on two separate occasions, days apart they reported to the credit bureaus that my account is still delinquent, yet it’s at 0’s.This place was a good place to do business when they were a small credit union in the downtown area and treated people well. Now they’re too big for their britches and no longer offer that atmosphere. I would not recommend doing business with this credit union.

Called and looked into getting a loan, Was sent an application and sent back very promptly. When i spoke to the gentleman on the phone i advised him of the type of loan i was looking for and the details for that. I sent over everything he needed to process a loan for me and he sent me information about saying they are not accepting any applications for car loans...I don't want to do business with a company that cant even listen to their customer who is wanting to spend their time and money with them. What a bad experience that didn't have to be.......

We just moved to Grand Junction a few months the ago. I am a die hard credit union member. I have been the Board of Directors and Supervisory Co.mitte chair.. What appealed to me is their financials are solid. Friendly staff and helpful.

It use to be an excellent place with friendly knowledge staff but over the past 2 years the service has gone down hill. The website for online banking keeps crashing and i sat in the drive through for 10 minutes and noone came, and yes they were open. Debit cards have had several issues, not good for someone who is traveling. Now there are maybe 2 atms in the valley that dont charge a ridiculous fee. If they are going to have so many issues pergaps they should get an atm for their customers. After almost 15 years i am so frustrated that i am looking for a different bank. I dont know if it is laziness or incompetence or complacency that has taken over but it saddens me to see a small town credit union take on the big enterprise attitude .

The tellers are friendly enough but.. We got lies fed to our faces and rugs pulled out from under us. We came in to pay off my auto loan and get my title, and he took our check, then refused to release the title as agreed, citing my remaining signature loan that we did NOT use my vehicle as collateral for. Do your banking with any of the other credit unions in GJ, or the local Alpine Bank. These folks are dishonest.

I love this credit union, easy accounts with out cost, great interest rates on loans. Friendly and smart people. Land loan, motorcycle loan and personal loan when they ran a special rate. Easy application process. I love this place.

Not a very good Credit Union , They don't seem to be on top of there business. Will Close your account with out much effort or notice . Very little sympathy or common courtesy from employees. I would highly consider finding a better Credit Union .
