I had not been to De Vries in a very long time. Went today ( 9/2/22) and they had 1 sm. basket of tomatoes, a few cucumbers, some onions a few green peppers and not much else in the way of fresh produce and veggies. Quite a disappointing visit this time, I’m afraid. The prices seemed to be higher than other similar produce shops.

The owner and his daughter treated me with absolute disrespect while I was here. I helped him sell his forklift and agreed on a 10% commission when I bring him the buyer, which I did. He didn't hold up to his word. So that makes him a LIAR and a THIEF. He thinks people that work for him will do it for free. To add to the fire when I came to pick up the forklift to deliver to the buyer his daughter proceeded to yell and me and laugh hysterically when I told her to calm down after I asked that she move her truck a few feet forward. I would avoid this place unless you like overpaying for your fruits and vegetables.

We have always came here for our pumpkins and loved it. Nine years.and today when we went the clerk that was there was super condescending to not only my entire family but my grandkids too. We had two stems break on two pumpkins and asked if we could replace them. She simply looked at me and said " well you broke it didn't you?so no". We spent around 250.00 in there and were shocked by the poor customer service. We won't be back.

The two times I've been here to buy winter squash in bulk, which I have done with ease at the Montrose location, I was met with confusion and even rudeness. On the second visit it took 5 min to get approval for the case purchase and the price in a week went up $10. I wasn't allowed to pick out my own items and the person helping me was angry and irritated. When I found out the price I told them nevermind. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back here despite how much I love fresh veggies.

Friendly family owned stands. Came to see the sunflower field and bought some Olathe corn. Family was working the day we stopped in. Cute 8ish old offered to take our groceries to our car. No masks being worn in September 2021. A very sunny, no cloud in the sky day so photos a bit washed out of sunflowers but fun to experience. Have picnic tables outside.

Great family fun! Slide into a corn kernel pit, horse drawn wagon, hay bale maze for the kids to run through and on top of, pumpkins ... Great staff, super fun day!

Stopped in for some local produce. The produce was decent, but not a ton of variety. The thing that killed it for me was that the woman working the shop was super rude and took no COVID precautions at all. I won’t be returning.

I really love this place, a good selection of produce , dried beans and canned goods. Plus my children adore the vintage tractor collection. It’s obviously more expensive than like city market, but if we don’t buy stuff from these places they will disappear along with all the agriculture in the valley.
