I have tried for 15 minutes now to call and get help and I am now told it is a 10 to 15 min wait time when someone finally answers they hang up on me. I think we should be able to call and speak to a person. I won't even step foot in this bank and or open an account after the impossible ability to reach someone on the phone.

Updated 3/27/23 at 8:50am*They never sent it to collections at all, even after the entire exchange. The head of collections Laurie, blatantly lied to me.Not willing to work with customers in need or that have been victims of identity theft. They told me multiple times they had sold my owed balance to a collection agency when they had not. When they finally acknowledged that confusion, I had to request multiple times for them to send it to the collection agency. Why would I want that? Because colorado credit union would not work with me on cashing my check to start a payment plan with them. Nor would they release the collection account completely to the collection agency, thusly preventing me from getting a checking account anywhere to make payments. It was either make a full payment and ignore my rent, or set up a payment plan on whatever cash they kept imagining I had on me. I wouldve happily started making payments today, but colorsdo credit union made this impossible.

Plan at least 15 minutes on hold if you try to call. I called today and have been on hold 1 hour and 9 minutes. No that's not a typo. When the recording says they will call you back, don't believe them. I've tried it a couple times and they've NEVER called me back.

If I could give you zero stars I would. Actually negative stars. Absolute worst bank on the planet. I mean every word. Disrespectful to your face and not willing to go the extra mile for a soul. Pathetic excuse for a “bank”. Do not suggest even a savings account with these jokers.

I’m really disappointed with this credit union. They said we never submitted our insurance with them. I was paying $400 for my truck. My payment went up to $790 a month. Because someone didn’t do they’re job. On top of that I’m paying my regular car insurance which is another 450 almost $1,000 just because someone didn’t submit my insurance. I can’t believe a credit union can almost make me lose my truck. This is hurting me bad...
