“Grocery store/Asian market connected to a gas station. I am here to let everyone know they have the best donuts in town. I am not a fan of Daylight Donuts and stumbled upon these on accident. Boston cream, vanilla cream filled maple long johns and the jelly filled glaze are my favorites. They have a lot of others as well to try. The best selection is weekend mornings. Service is always quick and friendly.”

Even better management, Dean is a godsend...I had money on various cards the one with what would have covered my purchase didn't want to work, he could tell i was becoming frustrated after trying and trying with no avail and he took it upon himself to cover me and my small purchase. Acts like that go far in my eyes especially given the state of the world. “I was so impressed with what I expected to be a routine potty-stop at a routine gas station/convenience store that after we left I tried to contact the staff by phone to congratulate them for providing a truly exceptional travel experience.My husband and I were actually greeted when we came through the door, passing into an unusually SPACIOUS and attractive arrangement of a wide variety of merchandise and edibles in an area where the floors were so clean I assumed they had just been washed or polished or both. So I was not surprised to find the restroom better … cleaner and more well-kept ..than any traveler has a right to routinely expect.All in all, when my husband and I left the Shop and Save at the Horizon Drive exit in Grand Junction, Colorado, each with their own favorite candy (mine cinnamon Hot Tamales and his Haribo Happy Cola), we definitely had been made to feel as if someone cared thatwe had been there.Kudos!”

“I don't know if they actually read these reviews, but the manager here is the best! Super nice and always compensating for me and my friends if we are even 20-30 cents short sometimes. As long as we have bought something, she lets us stay there for up to 3 hours at their table area. When it comes to the service, the cashiers are always pretty nice. The bathrooms are kept relatively clean and are very nice for a gas station. They always have items in stock and welcome us every time.”

“They have Ethanol free gas here! It is only available on certain pumps so look for the different colored nozzles (green and red.) If the pump has diesel you need to go to the other pump- sorry I don't remember which color is which now.”

“Manager is great here. I asked him not to scan my ID for tobacco and he agreed because I asked nicely and he’s the manager. He told me as a condition of selling tobacco products Maverick policy is to scrape your data to sell to advertisers and also corporate thinks it’s employees are too stupid to discern the difference between an adult man and a child with a fake ID unless the right beep boops but mainly it’s about collecting and selling your data. Shop at your own risk.”
