This is sadly my neighborhood city market and it is consistently horrible. The produce is low quality and usually low inventory, the meat is sub par and the customer service absolutely sucks.

City Markets are generally well run stores. Some of the small town ones are very nice like the one in nearby Hotchkiss I visit occasionally. This one however, suffers from very poor management in their deli. Just about any time you visit, they are out of or haven't bothered to make any typical fried deli items. I asked a worker once when they typically cooked and he replied there was no specific time, just whenever they got around to it. Great Management! The deli also closes very early. I often come at what would be considered a "meal time" to find they have nothing prepared. On several occasions, the deli staff are chatting with other employees rather than preparing food. I guess the store management here has no interest in selling deli cooking but it seems to me if they do, they should pay more attention to when people here eat such as Noon, 5pm, etc. These are they times I usually find NO food available. Also, cook enough food so as not to run out almost as soon as it hits the shelf. Puzzling!

I would be careful doing Online orders for pick up they got someone tampering with the milk and food I've bought gallon of milk that seal was broken and opened and my daughter oat milk was opened and super glued back on which I notice right away .. SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD And VIOLATION ?

I wish I could give zero stars i absolutely hate this grocery store and avoid it at all costs! Worst store in grand junction, horrible parking lot, it will probably take you 10 minutes just to navigate around it. Always so many people with a horrible lay out so you’re always in someone’s way and vise versa. Finally they never have anything in stock even though it’s on their website, and always a line at checkout no matter what time you go. Just going here makes me angry and if I didn’t live right next to it I would avoid at all costs!

Absolutely the worst grocery store in Grand Junction. Never stocked. Always out of something. Crappy lay out hard to navigate. Dirty and always a long lines. Not to mention the homeless and the hipsters make it a nightmare to go in. Horrible parking lot avoid this place at all costs.

Supervisor just standing around chit chatting when the store was busy bad mouthing hard working employee.... I can see why some of the workers look angry.... I would too If I get treated that way. Store needs to hire better management /supervisors and treat employees with the same respect. It seems to me they only care about their "bonus and paycheck" while treating employees like they're less than

I love shopping here. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I can usually find everything I need.
