When you call the pharmacy and get the recording, she states "your friendly city market pharmacy.". I have found that statement to be mostly false.

They never have your prescription ready, whenever I call the automated voice message states that I am not in the system. It went to a worker and she goes “hold please.” And puts it back to the song before I can speak. Minutes later it tells my to tell them my name, doctors name, why I’m calling, and all these random things.

I usually have no complaints about this pharmacy but I have finally had it with the older lady with long hair. She is the RUDEST. Literally looks like she is miserable and talks to you like you are bothering her. She audibly huffed at me because I needed a medication same day before they closed. Which was still 3-4 hours. I have worked retail pharmacy for 17 years and it is no easy job but good god she needs to go. Time to retire.

It’s really disappointing how awful this pharmacy staff treats the public. I understand that people can be difficult and your job may be taxing, but I have never had a good experience with a single staff member at this location. They’re rude when you call, they’re rude to your face, they’re rude during your transaction. Would it kill you to smile and simply ask another human how they’re doing? Don’t expect sunshine and rainbows if you fill a script here. It’s really uncalled for.. get a new job if you’re going to treat people that way.

I went to this pharmacy a long time ago, and honestly was not impressed, but decided to try it again because it’s the most convenient for me. I AM SO GLAD I DID. They brought in a new pharmacist and no joke, she is AMAZING. Mel made me feel so welcomed, and like she actually cared. Not something I’m used to in a pharmacy setting. Kroger made the best choice getting her in this store, honestly think she deserves a raise already!!!

Dr Mel and her team are some of the most helpful and efficient pharmacists I’ve ever dealt with. Her knowledge and willingness to try to find alternatives is second to none. Sometimes pharmacies are out of meds, it’s expected at times, but she always approaches her customers with a smile and a positive attitude and I respect that. It’s not easy dealing with hundreds of people everyday that aren’t always happy or feeling well. Kudos to her and her team.

Probably the worse pharmacy in town. Prescriptions never filled on time, you call just to get hung up on.

I think the pharmacy manager Mel needs a raise or maybe to find a place to work that doesn't involve dealing with customers. She's very rude and condescending. I could do without the snide remarks as well. Her job is to help people, and based off my experience she doesn't seem to like to do that. I just needed the correct prescription but I was given the wrong one when I clearly stated when I came to pick up I wanted the one called in today (12-26). I had also spoken to her on the 22nd when I was dealing with some issues from my provider and was greeted with the same attitude and rude comments that I experienced today. Everyone else I've encountered at the pharmacy is kind and professional.

This is the second time. I have shown up to pick up my son's prescription for the second illness. He has had within the couple months and again. They do not have his medication. They will not call to tell you when they do not have his medication. They wait until you show up. And then they are very rude about it.
