I don’t recommend here I made a reservation and paid $26 for collision protection (I can’t get a refund for it) just to not get a rental cause they “couldn’t take my card”. No explanation other than that. Even after making the reservation online and filling out all my information.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM BUDGET. This place ruined our vacation due to a slow tire leak. Do not trust them, we had a reservation and were told the only car available was a Subaru, well the tires are almost bald and now we get charged an extra $600 for them to fix their own mistake. Also, we cannot exchange the car because none of the Budgets in Utah will allow it. I have rented a lot of cars and travel often and I will never use Budget again. Also, there is very little reception in this area, making it dangerous to drive with an almost flat tire.

I left my seat cushion in the rental. Tried to call them 10 times. No one answered even though I called at different times. Several times I got a taped message from a central office. When I requested ‘lost and found’, the message disconnected. You would think the GJ office would call me to let me know they found my cushion. Nada. The initial man we dealt with was nice and the car was great. Why a three rating instead of a one.

I rented a car on Grand Junction to travel from there to Colorado Spring Airport. The car that I received had hail damage and a crack in the windshield. I told the person at Grand Junction and he didn't want to replace the car with another one. He told me that any damage will be covered by the insurance! I made him write on the system about the previous hail damage because, of course, I was not going to be responsible for it. When I returned the car in Colorado Springs Airport, I found out that the rental agreement had another car on it, not the one I received. So obviously, if for any reason we had an issue on the highway, there was no insurance on the car that I was driving! I was even charged more than what the reservation said. The person in COS airport was very kind and tried to help me as much as he could. But definitely, Budget needs to do something more.

Beware of this company . I have rented from others. this is the first time I've rented from budget and the last. My rental car cost was $136. The salesperson at the pickup counter told me I could get all their insurances for $80. My receipt that was emailed to me after I returned the car ended up being $313. They charged me $177 just for their insurance. The lady at customer service that I called to talk to about this was very rude. Not to mention the guy was on his phone playing a game or something when I picked up my car and just sat there and continued to completely ignore me that for 5 plus minutes and was playing with his phone, did not look up at me or say a word to me. I was standing 2' from him. The person that I gave my car back to was too busy hitting on the female that worked at the competitors and was very irritated when I interrupted him to return my car. Budget rental car has zero customer service beware. Do not rent from them pay a little more money.

Easy pickup and drop off. Car was an AWD SUV and the tires had maybe 30% tread left. It was potentially unsafe driving in snowy conditions.

Excellent service!! I was able to check in at the desk and pick up the car, all within 5 to 10 minutes. That's because I have Fast Track, a great service offered by Budget.

We reserved a car online, and were told when we arrived that the car was unavailable. We had to pay an additional $200 in rental fees and nearly $100 in fuel from the larger and considerably less efficient vehicle.Vehicle was dirty and had trash inside on pickup.

Racist, rude, incompetent, and I can go more. Started with they didn't have any cars.....ended (15min later)you need to calm down.......then (2 min later) here's your car. 1st row. Hmmmmm. You do your own deduction. My opinion Avoid at all cost. Lost all of my business. Pathetic.

To start off i received a car that wasnt cleaned. I got asked if i would just take that car or it wouldve been longer to get a car. Then I got lied to by customer service about returning my vehicle late. I was told that I would be charged a $6.18 late fee. I actually got charged another day for returning it 2.5 hours late. After I received my bill I called customer service and tried explaining what I was told and the lady hung up on me because I didn't have my rental agreement number right away.i will NEVER rent from them again.

The car was new and clean. It was a huge bonus for me to have navigation enabled as I had problems with my phone GPS. The staff were friendly, very helpful and professional.

Car was great, people were easy and great. HOWEVER, I cleaned and gas up the car at a gas station less than 2 miles away. Thank god I kept the receipt. They charged 54.99. For fueling! Thankfully the customer service was easy and quick to use. Check your statements people. Weeks later, just to be safe. But on a side note the customer service was great on the phone.

The pickup experience was mostly pleasant, the line was long but the person at the desk was very professional and kind. I did end up getting upgraded from the vehicle I reserved but there didn't appear to be any extra fees tied to it. My only gripe is that I was running behind schedule to catch my flight so I returned the car with a little over half of the gas tank full to save a bit of time (but only after calling Budget customer service and confirming all that would mean is that I pay the cost of gas required to fill the tank). Budget instead charges me $9.99 PER GALLON, totaling me $97.50 for less than half a tank of gas. I can imagine even a little bit of markup for having to take the time to fill it up but this charge was entirely over the top. It was the only thing that soured my experience, and I think I wouldn't even have minded if I was given any kind of warning when I called and asked about it. Transparency would have been greatly appreciated.
