Shelly is one of the best mortgage people I have ever been to! She was there for us from start to finish and made everything a breeze. After past experiences we were not looking forward to this experience, but it was so great because of Shelly. Thanks to her for all she does to make getting a mortgage a great experience!

Too much like the corporate slave masters such as Chase, Wells Fargo. They and their algorithm will find a way to charge overdraft fees. They also will NOT loan you money, despite being a customer and job holder for over 2 years. I still think they tossed my ID when I left it there by accident, as I overheard them on the phone when I called about it being lost. They said my name, which I hadn't given them yet.

I have had nothing other than top notch professional service from this bank. I know it is hard to find good employees during the current labor shortage but the new people they have hired are doing the best they can to get up to speed and provide the reliable and trustworthy service that one expects from a bank. I have personal and business accounts at more than one location in Grand Junction and I find that Bank of Colorado is by far the best place in town for financial services.

Quite possibly the worst bank in the valley. If you are looking for a "local partner" bank, or a bank that cares about its community members, this is not the one.The bank abruptly closed our accounts today, with no details other than "we no longer met their risk profile" - which I learned from their customer support is simply just a sly way to say that the branch manager had asked for my account to be closed.I am certain this is due to the quite rocky and cold relationship we created during a critical business issue for us. We had several returned ACH payments from a client, and struggled to get our head above water, with no help from this bank, even after hundreds of thousands of dollars of good deposits and regular banking history.Trust me, before you had to this bank, check out Alpine Bank, they are way more involved in the community, and their bankers will make every effort to help you where they can.One small note, Sonya Rasmussen at the branch on North has been a pleasure to work with, so despite the bank being a difficult, behind the times, impersonal bank, if you have the opportunity to deal with her, I suggest you do.

This bank is difficult to deal with. They have some interesting new features for their ATM machines, but it does not outweigh the fact that they are not a great bank that looks out for their community members. Several months ago we had a critical business issue (during COVID of course) where several of the same client's regular ACH payments were returned (very large payments). Our expectation was the bank would help, in some way to help us through this rough time. They did not. We asked for access to the account to be stopped, it was not - the bank continued to rack up charges against us, which we ultimately paid, and returned only a small portion of them. Then after what seemed like a monumental hurdle for us and repairing the account status, only a month later they abruptly shut down our account the day after making a cash deposit. We were told our account was "no longer in their risk profile," which after talking to their customer service line turned out to be code for "the branch manager asked to close your account." Beware this bank. Especially the branch on Grand in Grand Junction.

I got mail from this bank that insists I'm a loyal customer. I'm not a customer here I haven't had an account her for decades. I bank at Wells Fargo! And I'm happy.

Their employees call and verbally attack cuss other store clerks when they don't get their way. They use their work email for personal matters and try to get other people fired.

My 10 year-old son won a $100 prize for a District 51 calendar art contest sponsored by the Bank of Colorado in Grand Junction in 2017. Then he won again last year when he was 11. Now he's 12 and they've taken ALL the money back ($200) through an inactivity fee on a savings account. Widows and children beware of a bank with policies that unfairly prey on "savings" accounts. Tough lesson for my son on the callousness of a "community" bank.

They don't know how to make a new debit card with the same card number, leaving me cardless for 3 weeks and with messed up vacation reservations. Everything is also a hassle, they return calls late and the lobby lady is very weird and rude.
