I've been taking my pets to Banfield for years and have always been pleased with their dedication to the health and happiness of my pets.

Good veterinarians and assistants. They really care about your pets and will answer any questions you have. Only down side is the expense.

If I can give them 0 starts, I will. Receptionist wasn't prepared for my bill, telling me I had to pay $400 for services including xrays, which I didn't authorize. She finally gets it resolved, but there is not communication between staff and veterinarian looks like. First impression. Second, she told me she won't release my cat until I have rabies shot and I have to wait an hour cuz they have an emergency. Excuse?? My cat has her rabies shot but I didn't have the paperwork at the moment. I told her I denied the rabies shots with them because it was a terrible approach receptionist did with me. They lost a good client here and I won't come back here anymore. I will stick with Cottonwood Hospital, better service and way more affordable.

We have been bringing our dog here since she was a pup. Staff is always so great. Our dog is deaf and they are always gentle with her and patient. The Banfield pet insurance makes our visit more affordable, making our visits less stressful knowing we don’t have to worry about expensive vet bills breaking the bank. Doctors always explain the entire process to us and take time to explain concerns found during the visit and things performed during the visit. Answering any questions, explaining care options, pro and cons of treatment and explaining the importance of specific treatments. Highly recommend this pet clinic & I cannot stress enough the benefits of the pet insurance they offer (which is also very affordable less then 100$ monthly) that is not only helping making pet healthcare more affordable but makes caring for your pet less stressful. Thank you Banfield for taking care of our fur baby! You are so highly appreciated.

Our pet, a 6 year patient at Banfield in GJ, within Petsmart, got his tail caught in the door going into the Grooming area. My husband took him the 10 feet to the Banfield front desk and asked him to be checked out as this was were our pet had been seen for the past 6 years and they refused at first. I had to get angry and demand he be at least looked at. He was finally looked at, but they refused to take care of him and told us we'd need to take him to an Emergency vet. PetSmart was very angry with how we were treated, as their policy , when a Petsmart is within there store, Banfield takes care of the pet. Our pet had to have part of his tail amputated at a cost of $800.00, but Petsmart paid for it. This ones just one of three bad experiences we had with this Banfield hospital in the last year. with our pet, being refuse emergency care.

Banfield saved my kitty. My foster cat was brought into Monument View on May 2nd. She was given a clean bill of health & we were told she is 3 years old. Observing her temperament, something seemed off.As of a few days ago, I decided to adopt her. We scheduled our new patient appointment today to switch to Banfield and to get her microchip. Everything about Banfield was wonderful. They write the pet patients of the day's name on a little white board behind the desk and it feels so welcoming. And their space is so clean and quiet, much more calming than any vet's office I've ever experienced. They also offer a FREE first visit coupon for new patients which was wonderful! After thoroughly yet quickly examining my kitty, they told me that Monument View was very far off on the age of my kitty and that she's actually between 8-12 years of age (which seems much more accurate). They also told us that she has a tooth abscess and needs a full dental work up and extraction. And finally, they explained how to safely and carefully take steps to help my kitty lose weight to help protect her long-term health. Our family rabbit (lives with my parents in a different household and sees a different vet not in town) had a very severe tooth abscess that's infection spread and resulted in his eye having to be removed, and him still battling to fight off the infection (which could become fatal if he continues to struggle). This is the danger that an abscess spreading can result in! And had my kitty's care been left up to Monument View, this outcome is likely. But, in my sincerest thanks to Banfield, they managed to get my kitty scheduled for her dental work in TWO DAYS, so I'm confident my fur baby will be okay.Had Monument View done what they should have, we wouldn't have had to pay out of pocket for her surgery, because my kitty was still a foster at the time, and was covered under the rescue's veterinary funds. But because Monument View failed and my kitty is now adopted, we have to pay out of pocket. But, again thanks to Banfield, our cost will be significantly lower than if the infection had spread. I can't express my gratitude for Banfield enough!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!! So so blessed that we went to get her microchip & schedule a new patient visit right away and that Banfield took such good care of my feline best friend. Also, Banfield sent my kitty home with the cutest orange Bandana! I truly love everything about them!*update*: Banfield called us this morning (the morning after our first appointment) to double check and make sure they addressed everything yesterday & also to make sure we’re prepared for my baby’s dental procedure tomorrow. My love for Banfield & their care continues to grow.

I went to this place for over 20 years. Several pets have crossed this threshold. Really... it's hit or miss. Trying to get an appointment here can be difficult and working with Banfield but talking about Redstone or their employees but Banfield as a company is extremely difficult to work with and on more than one occasion I was given incorrect information which resulted in having to subscribe to a higher fee for the same plan I was on before the change. Doctors are knowledgeable.. your pets will get adequate care. Very techs are friendly.. however overly sometimes towards the furbabies... they have to understand some don't want to be snuggled and cuddled by sin someone they don't know. Reception is okay, I sat on hold for more than 10 min one day, but they are friendly.. so I'm torn... 6 in one and half a dozen in another, nothing special... I guess go and make your own decision... like I said they are adequate.
