Rented a car through Alamo at the Grand Junction Airport when a Turo host ghosted me at the last minute. I was very happy with everything - the car, the price, and the excellent customer service. Special thanks to Jessica!

Made a reservation at 7pm for pickup the next day at 10am. They called at 1030pm to tell me they've overbooked and have no car for me. Now I am scrambling to find a car. Don't rent from this location.

The absolute worst service possible. Our Alamo car broke down, Roadside assistance routed us first to Aspen who wasn't aware of the car swap (from their own company) and had no cars. Then Alamo roadside assistance routed us to Grand Junction where our car broke down completely. it was towed and we directed to the Alamo office at the airport. Again they had no knowledge of us, "had no cars" and weren't interested in renting us one because we were going back to Denver. They had dozens of cars in their lot, we took pictures. Calls and emails to supervisors went unanswered. Being escalated or transferred to a supervisor is just code for being put on hold until you give up. After several hours we realized they weren't going to help in the least and we were left completely stranded. But for the kindness of the Avis rental company who overheard this travesty, we would still be in Grand Junction. If I could give it less than one star I would do that, and suffice it to say I will never rent from Alamo nor it's other entities Enterprise or National, and will tell anyone who asks to avoid them at all costs.

It would be nice if when I call you answer, don't expect to get ahold of anyone but central call center. Horrible customer service!

Though i had prebooked a reservation online, $266 for a 1 way rental suv gjt ase, the new giy checking me in in gjt fiddled around way too long. And even though I asked him what the problem was, he kept merrily along. Ultimately producing a folder w my bill for $867. Good thing my radar was up and ipulled put out the contract prior to leaving the desk. Manager had to redo entire thing. 20 mins later, i was finally on my way. Very annoying. The young lady in charge at the other end, ase, was awesome. So professional. Moral: hire as many women as you can. Get rid of worthless guys. Foreign better.

This Alamo is getting 3 stars not for renting me a car, but for following up on my car rental which I had to cancel. I received a call from the Alamo desk at the airport. An actual person called to ask me about my rental. I can see from the other reviews that folks had big problems with this location. I did appreciate hearing from them, even though I ended up having to cancel my reservation.

Car itself was good. Negative - was booking this on line and stating there would be a car at noon when in reality at the airport there were no cars available until 540 PM.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I will never rent a car from Alamo!! We had a reservation for Friday Dec 27th for my son to return his kids by noon the next day. He was to pick up the car at 11 pm, however at 8 pm I received a call, they gave away our car because of a contract they have in place. Apparently my reservation meant nothing and the contract they have with Costco means nothing. John the rep refused to give me the manager's name, as he said "It's not her fault and she has left for the day" I called Alamo corporate and have yet to receive a call back. I called Costco, they tried to help but with it being a holiday weekend all the rental companies were sold out. I did lodge a complaint with them and suggest they reconsider their contract as Costco could get a bad reputation for the terrible customer service. Actually customer service is nonexistent at this location or with this company at all. Renters beware; if you need a car don't rent from Alamo!! I feel cheated and betrayed! We were promised services and instead, received a call from an immature Alamo rep that wouldn't even give me his last name. What business, in good faith leaves a Costco reservation for a car rental stranded with no recourse and no options? I will share this disastrous experience with everyone I know, my family, my church, my friends and everyone I can find. I would hate for anyone else to experience our pain and misfortune. A reservation with Alamo means nothing, their word is hollow and their choices cost my family more than monetary loss. Just wanting to share our experience, no malice, just severe disappointment and extreme frustration with this company and hope it prevents others from going through something similar.

Booked a car 3 weeks ago, showed up at the time we were suppose to pick up the car and no one was there, was told to go to the Enterprise counter where the checked us in and now we wait for our car, apparently they don't have enough, won't give us a time of when we can expect to get one. So much for reservations.

We had some problems with a rental car we had rented at another station and we were very unhappy with the car. We searched for help and advice in Grand Junction.
