Dr. Brooks fit my dog Ziggy in for an emergency visit. He is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and very reasonably priced. You can tell he is passionate and cares deeply for the pets and community he serves. I am forever grateful for his expertise and willingness to see my dog in his time of need.

My dog has been seeing Dr Brooks since we moved to Granby. I appreciate his no nonsense approach. My dog is very anxious and has always warmed to Dr Brooks very easily. Highly recommend.

Had to euthanize our 4 year old dog this morning. So thankful Dr. Brooks was available to help. Unfortunately, he has had to euthanize 4 of our dogs and has always been caring and compassionate, each time. He was really busy too, on a Saturday and had lots of people waiting. But we didn't feel rushed or inconvenient, he made feel he cared and I'm sure he does. Granby is lucky to have him.

I have to thank Dr.Brooks for all the years he’s taken care of all my pups ? and Kitty’s ?that’s 4 dogs and 2 cats. You are always there when we need you. You have always been compassionate and kind to them, even when it’s time for them to move on. As someone who’s had over 8 dogs in my lifetime and spent thousands of dollars keeping them alive. Dr. Brooks is amazing! I live in Denver and will drive to his clinic any day of the week if needed. His attention to detail is unparalleled and his experience in veterinary medicine is extensive. He puts emotion aside and gets right to the point…. A quality a would want for myself as a patient from their physician. He tells it like it is and advocates for all his patients which is a wonderful quality, considering all of his patients cannot advocate for themselves.

Couldn't ask for a better vet more caring more Humane more charitable.October 2021 update.Dr Brooks has been caring for our dogs for over 10 years. Routine care, emergency care and euthanasia, all done with sincere concern for the dogs well being. Staff has been excellent as well. Highly recommended.Great selection and prices for quality food.Updated March 2024We had to euthanize our 15 year old Miniature Dacshound this week. Dr Brooks and staff were as usual very professional and compassionate offering privacy. We had her cremated and ashes returned to us at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend

My visit to Dr. Brooks' veterinary clinic left me feeling incredibly uneasy. Not only was his demeanor unsettling, but I was taken aback when he started sniffing my dog during the examination. It was a strange and uncomfortable moment that made me question his professionalism and approach to animal care. Needless to say, I won't be returning to his practice.

I've never seen a grown man throw a tantrum like this before because I got testing done at another vet. Really unprofessional. The rudest conversation I've had with someone in Grand County, and I used to be neighbors with Marv Heemeyer.

We can never give Dr. Brooks enough stars or compliments. He is there for this community in an amazing way. If you ever have any emergency, Dr. Brooks is incredible. If you need shots, dog food, medication, or just check ups, Dr. Brooks is there for you. If you ever have an animal that you can't figure out what's wrong with, Dr. Brooks will do everything he possibly can and send you to the right person if he can't figure it out. We owe him and his staff such a huge debt of gratitude for everything they have done for us.Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Brooks is an excellent veterinarian. He’s the only doctor me and my family use here in Grand county. He truly cares about the animals and he doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg for basic pet services! He is a great guy and would recommend him to anyone with a cat or dog!!
