I would rate 0 stars if I could. This old man has got to be one of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my life. Take your business somewhere else. It was the first place I went to when I got to town and thankfully I ended up at Grand County Auto - they were very friendly and way more professional than this grouchy old man.

We don’t live in Granby but we broke down on our way to vacation. Tom was available and quickly diagnosed the issue. Excellent service and very knowledgeable- highly recommend!

The owner of this place needs to quit or shut the place down. very rude. Got towed into this shop Tom never came out to talk to us or anything. I finally went and found him, said he would look at it by the end of the day. nothing more. I got my truck running and moved it out of his way. went and told him instead of saying okay that's good news his comment was" you know what i like about tourists? Nothing, they always want things done right now." I told him i didn't need that and i would take my business else where his comment was. "Get the F---K out of here.
NEVER go to this place.

Beware of this place if you are woman or have out of state plates.
Daughter stopped here because brakes were making noise. Quoted her $2,400 for brake pads,1 rotor and 1 caliber. When when she told him she would get back to him next day he got very sarcastic to the point of hostile, and generally belittling her. Stated he shouldn't let her leave and then demanded $250 dollars inspection fee. This took less than half an hour, so curious to what his hourly rate is for other work

Called them to see if they can help change a flat tire. A simple “I’m sorry we do not offer that service” would have been an acceptable response. However he was incredibly rude and said “call a tow truck buddy”.
If he is this rude for a simple inquiry I can’t imagine how he treats his customers.

This was my 2nd attempt over the years to use this mechanic. I had a slow leak in my tire in September. I was having trouble finding anyone to fix it because they were all booked days, and even weeks in advance. I stopped to inquire if this place could help. With all four bays open, the man responded like he was angry I was bothering him and he responded that he would patch the tire if I left it overnight. I asked if he could help remove it and put on mt spare, and he responded like I had hit him, and made clear that was not going to happen. I apologize for troubling him and found help down the road. Not sure if the man was having a bad day, but after visting five shops in Granby that day, this would be my last choice.

Very rude on the phone and is zero help when it comes to working on vehicles. Do not go here or bother calling him.

they got the job done but totally take advantage of people driving through $245 for one hour of labor. And they don't let you wait there on their property while your vehicle is getting fixed had to set the gas station next-door. Probably because they don't want to know how long it took him to work on your vehicle.

Tom saved the day!We were at a campsite nearby when our Jeep Grand Cherokee just DIED as we were pulling out to go to a trailhead. We deducted that we needed a new alternator and battery. In calling around to various shops on a Saturday at 1pm, everyone was closed. When we called ARS, Tom answered! Although they were officially closed , Tom listened to our issue and offered to help us even though it was his time off from work! After getting towed to him, he had our Jeep working and back on the road in 2 hours! Had it not been for our hero, we would've had to cut our camping trip short and be towed back to Thornton, CO! We are extremely appreciative for Tom. I've read other reviews where some mention that Tom was rude. He is definitely a straightforward person. So just go with the flow of him and you will be fine. He's a good guy and a veteran!

Dropped a flat tire off for repair. They filled it with air, told me that it was not repairable and charged me $40.00 for their (expert?) opinion. Also a nasty attitude. There are a lot nicer ploaces to get ripped off.
