“From the moment we walked into Christies of Genesee, we just KNEW this was the perfect venue to have our wedding!! There's wood and corrugated metal accents and is super cozy. No, not the realtor term cozy as it was more than enough space for all our guests, but everyone said that it is an intimate venue. When you're outside for a ceremony, the view is perfectly backdropped with the mountains. Inside, you have a dance floor on the lower level, then you walk up 6 steps to the bar. To the right of the bar is the dining room and to the left is where they serve the buffet. The dining room has a 270 degree view of the mountains and I70. Can we talk about food because we all know that makes or breaks any event?? Well, we had salmon and prime rib as our proteins with garlic mashed potatoes, green bean almandine, strawberry spinach salad, and fresh fruit. It was difficult to make this menu choice because all the tastings were so delicious!Kerri and Frank, the owners are so AWESOME! They answered every single one of our questions and were always so patient and sweet about everything. It's not too far from Denver, but it feels like a getaway. There's plenty of parking for all your guests and Genesee Park is on the backside for magnificent photos! I would come back and have a milestone birthday party here!!”

“This is hands down one of the best places ive ever stayed in. The employees were so respectfu and thoughtful! I came to golden for a concert but now il remember yet another gem this area has to offer!
Rooms: Room was actually ready for early check in and immaculate!
Nearby activities: There is so much to do in the area , and you don't even have to drive! Walk in any direction and you will find top notch food (woodys) and great shops!
Safety: Never once felt unsafe
Walkability: AMAZING location if you just want to take off and explore!”
