I almost exclusively come here when we unexpectedly need restaurant supplies. Today I came in and was treated in my opinion incredibly rudely, specifically by the produce manager. I am sorry that I need to buy romaine but am I not another customer? Apparently not because I felt that he was passive aggressive with me about needing it. Sales are sales and I thought the community here in golden was better than that. Honestly I'm very displeased with the service here and will avoid being back as well as let others know that if we need something to try another store because here they do not appreciate our business unfortunately.

Floral scam. $125 for 3 roses and practically all green filler. Looks nothing like the picture. Called the store the next day and explained to Customer Service what happened and she didn't want to transfer me to their floral department, said there's nothing she can do about my issue. I finally got someone to transfer me to floral and they said they'd call me back. Haven't received a call back. Already did the "Contact Us" and still no response.

Violet provides attentive, 5-star customer service. I always enjoy coming to this Safeway. Big fan of the improvements to self-checkout and the parking lot as well.

Is there a best time of day to go to this site when it doesn't smell so bad? I can't help gagging every time I try to shop at this Safeway store.I know that it's an old building but I find the smell keeps me from shopping here more often.the Staff is friendly though!

Literally traumatized by this stores employees. Years ago Justin ran my EBT card roughly 10 times, which ended up hosing it up for 6 months. I eventually received my benefits in full after a long wait. During that time there were time where I went hungry. On 1/4/2023, I was shopping at this store. None of the prices rang up correctly. I brought this to the checker Sandy's attention. Michelle, the assistant manager acted as if I was a thief and a domestic abuser because I followed her to the isle to show her the price tag on the shelf, and how the items weren't ringing up properly. This was the initial reason my EBT was hosed, the prices not ringing up correctly. I relayed my story to Sandy about my hosed EBT card in the past, and how I had to go hungry because of it. She literally laughed at me and the fact I went hungry during this period. I asked for Terri the GM, who was able to adjust the prices, after a lengthy process. That said, Sandy literally tried to charge at me upon leaving the store, right in front of Terri. The only discipline Sandy recieved from Terri was a "Now, now". It took me over a year to post this review due to the trauma of it all. I have not been in this Safeway since that day. Terri, Michelle, and Sandy should all be fired. This is blatant discrimination against EBT customers and the disabled. I hope Safeway(Albertson's) is sued. I would surely join the lawsuit if any lawyer decides to take up the case against this company. Happy to see our State Attorney General Phil Weiser is suing to stop the Kroger-Albertson's merger. These type of issues will only expand if that merger goes through. These companies only cares about profit not people.

worst customer service experience, I have never seen anyone go out of there way not to assist a customer. the lady at customer services is the rudest and quite possibly the laziest person I have ever encountered.Context: I waited at the front for 10 minutes before any one call this lady at the front desk. then this lady slowly walked up as though I inconvenienced her. I ask for nicotine gum she said we don't have it. "" yeah you do". I said. she replied "oh that is right it in the back by the pharmacy" I said, "exactly however its locked away because people have been stealing it or at least that is what I was told and I need some assistance in getting to it". She said "NO you are just going to have to wait till the pharmacy opens". I asked "there is no one at this store that has a key"? she continued with attitude "no I cant help you"That's fine it is clear that Safeway does not want my business and this isn't the first time I have encountered rude employees at this location. For a company that isn't doing well financially you would think they would want to keep as many customers as possible.Managers please don't offer me anything I won't be shopping at your store or any other Safeway location in the future. If I can give you some advice instead, You need to treat your staff better and they will in turn treat your customers better. Or just shut down your business because that is where you are headed anyways Especially if you keep treating your staff the way you do.To the employees if you are that miserable at your job, do us all a favor and quit. I know how Safeway treats their employees its not good, but because the union gives you an illusion of job security you stay. Then you become a miserable person. To people who live in the area, I don't recommend shopping at any Safeway it is the worst corporation that ever existed. In fact, there is a thriving King Soopers about a Quarter mile up the road. They have better customer service and they actually have the products in stock and accessible to the customer.

I entered the wrong phone number and the digital coupons didn’t show up- my mistake, but the store manager worked the issue with me until we got figured out. It was not an easy process- a corporate issue- but she hung in there! Staff here are always friendly and helpful.

My 84 year old Mother slipped in a puddle of liquid in the store and is injured. The store denied all responsibility for this and their insurance has offered nothing. She went to ER bur x-rays showed no fracture so they have accused her of being a scammer. WOW!

Safeway's aren't bad. Not always the most competitive grocery stores around, but generally have everything we need.
