I sure do wish I can leave no stars the shelter is absolutely terrible due to some hardships a family member had that caused them to have no home and is currently couch hooping looked up some no kill shelters near her to try and find a safe place to relinquish her loved cats was then contacted saying since one of the cats is a aggressive cat that scratches and bites will either need to be picked up by the following day or would be euthanized same day is terrible the cat in question has never been aggressive in any way shape or form it’s heartbreaking that this terrible facility claims to be a non kill shelter but in fact is not I hope this place gets closed down it’s a shame that this facility is is more focused on bringing money in then taking the time to get to know these animals and try every way possible to get these babies loving homes so no I won’t be coming here and I’ve told everyone I know to never come to this shelter/rescue again they are in fact a kill shelter so please think of that when wanting to come here for any business

Adopted our baby from here October 5 2023. Still hoping to find his brother and get them set up on a play date. Great facility easy process and we're so grateful for Bentley (p.k.a Lazlo). They came from Houston Texas where they were on the euthanasia list and were both brought together to Foothills Animal Shelter. I was able to find their story through fb/YouTube. I'm just thankful Foothills had the space for them and they were saved. I wish I would have known that my baby had a brother at the time of adoption but I have faith that they'll be reunited one day.

This place is awesome! They have a program to reach out to the jails to communicate with friends or family who might have been arrested, thus leaving you with their pets to care for. They give them 10 days to come and pick up their pets before they attempt to adopt them out. And the staff is extremely friendly!

My dogs were taken there and one of them was spayed when I got them back. What gives them the right to do that, and they didn't say anything about it to me when I went to pick them up! That is really uncool. BOOOOO FOOTHILLS ANIMAL SHELTER!

Best place to adopt. The staff is awesome and helpful, and I love the fact that I was able to get a leash and a gently used crate from their little store. Very convenient ? ? ???
