Tried to place my 68 year old brother with schizophrenia, handicapped, cerebral palsy here. Although a ward of the state since 18. They wanted proof of handicap from birth. cerebral palsy is from birth and had a eval when he was young and has been in group homes his whole life. This placed refused him so I was forced to leave him at a nursing facility that did not understand him. no one would open their doors- he died from severe malnutrition and depression in 5 months. Severe policy can harm. Makes me think they don't really care.

Very caring people taking care of amazing clients. They are disabled but they try so hard and are so happy to work. They are very special people and the reason mountain valley exists.

Would never recommend this agency to anyone. MVDS has high staff turn over with limited supervision especially in the group homes. The clients experience poor health due to lack of care, poor diets, lack of exercise, over medicated, neglect and even some abuse. This is agency is one to avoid if you care for your loved one!
