This store is awful. Employees are disrespectful. Entire store is trashy. Bathrooms are atrocious. They have constantly been discontinuing the best products and I will no longer be going here anymore. Also, you cant get in during the week around lunchtime because they make all their highschool customers in a small town line up to get in, and they have their stupid walkie-talkies so they cant get in. Don’t go to this store.

The whole line thing outside the store has got real annoying I’ve groccery shopped for years at lunch and never had a problem with highschoolers the line makes it hard to enter the store and makes it so no employees are available to help. Many of the employees are very mean to the kids just trying to buy items at store. This store needs to get rid of the stupid policy and get a new manager

This store pays employees to lineup anyone who looks like a high school student outside of the store at lunch time. Several CMC students have been told to get in line. Absolutely ridiculous. The homeless population stealing grocery carts are more likely to shop lift than the majority of high school students. The store manager could institute better theft control measures rather than wasting store resources on lining up anyone of a certain age. Time for new management at this store! Two stars because both Joshs that work at this store are awesome.

I am doing my best to buy less at this store. They are helping by discontinuing to carry products that I have bought there for years. The ironic part is, they continue to mail me coupons for those products. Also, the self checkout is very inconvenient when I have coupons or when it determines that I touched something in the bagging area. When the Assistant is on the way notice comes on the screen it should actually notify the assistant so they can show up in a timely fashion. Try and show me that you appreciate my business.

My husband and I stopped at the City Market gas station 3 days in a row visting from Texas. Elena working the register had an attitude very rude and not friendly at all like she hates her job. She needs to work on her people skills.

Glenwood Springs City Market is one of the best city markets I've ever been to. It's always clean. It's always organized, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always. This is a great example for other stores in our area. I love my New Castle City market but that place needs an update. Thank God they have a wonderful staff still or I wouldn't go there at all.

Nice clean store, lots of produce (unlike the local Walmart which has no produce). Staff was friendly. It was a good shopping experience, I’d come here again. Not going to the Walmart here ever again.

I have a small medical dog that has ADA papers and was approved by my doctor because he alerts me to my medical issues. The manager embarrassed me greatly by questioning me about service animal and over did it by constantly questioning me. If there was somewhere else to shop in Glenwood Springs, I would. City Market you’re in violation of ADA regulations.

Since this is the main and only large grocery chain in town we have little choice but to shop here. There prices are higher than Walmart or target plus you better check your receipt as the price they post is wrong at check out. Example Sea Pac frozen shrimp price on tag 8.99. Price at check out 10.49. This is one example but I could give more if needed. They raise there prices and when they put it on sale it reflects back to the original price. Example red peppers price was 1.59 each they raised it to 1.69 then the next week lower it back to 1.59 on sale. Really. Kroger (city market) has a monopoly in every town in the roaring fork Valley and takes every advantage of it.

Not like this company would ever care what their customers think but here is my review anyway. This store is terrible, it's cramped, it's limited, it's way too busy for it's own good, the coupons don't work, the BOGO sales don't work. (be sure to check your receipt) I'll be commuting 12 miles to Carbondale city market for some sanity. What a joke of a store.

This place is awful! Only self check out was open and we had 2 carts worth of groceries for our stay. The guy running the self check out Josh was so rude & snarky. Not helpful in any way. We had to keep calling himOver b/c we were well over the limit of items for self checkout. He would not open any normal check out where they actually have to work and check someone out so we had to keep waiting for him to come approve each time we reached the limit which was atleast 10 times. He seemed incredibly annoyed with us the entire time. But what else are we do to when you have no normal lines open and only self check out. It took us over 30min to check out. Josh to be even more of a jerk wanted to card both my husband and myself to buy bottle of champagne. This was at the end of check out and i said really you have my husbands id. And he said he has every right to card everyone. So i had to dig my id out. I’m 43!!! He just wanted to frustrate us even more! I never leave bad reviews but this deserved it. Horrible customer service!!!The guy in the deli was the only pleasant worker there. Josh needs a class in customer service & etiquette!!! Don’t shop here
