Went in today January 23 2024 looking for turtlenecks for my husband. The woman cashier didn’t know what a turtleneck was and she asked me if I wanted the whole shirt? I said yes. She asked an associate that walked by and he didn’t answer her. I won’t be back.

So GOOD!! It's refreshing to see this store in our town. They have ol' skool kicks , some pure white chunky Filas , Ol' skool white Sketchers , crisp white Adidas and black with the white strips. Very nice employees!

I have went to Big 5 in Glenwood the past two evenings aT 5:30pm and they were closed. The hours on google say 7:30pm Sunday and 8:30pm Mondays, do not waste your time or money driving here… they close at 5:30pm every day. Management needs to change the google hours.

I went into Big 5 for some ammo for my husband and over heard a conversation between multiple employees. The store manager (Shantell) made a racist remark that rubbed me the wrong way. Two employees walked away. I will not be shopping here anymore.

We walked in about 530 on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted with a not so warm "we close in 30 minutes" which was unimpressive to say the least. Then seconds later we were nearly run over by a person working there pushing a broom presumably in a big hurry to get out of there and not happy we showed up. We obliged and promptly walked out - - later purchasing what we needed at Wal-Mart. Won't be back.
