Very unwilling to perform an extremely simple task. Decent banks will have some method to perform notary even if you aren’t a customer. For fee which we were very willing to pay. Luckily we didn’t have to search all day for this service and ruin our vacation over it. No thanks to this bank. How dang difficult would have been to help someone in a bind such as the one we found ourselves in. We are from Texas and had an issue come up that required a simple notary stamp and this bank found if impossible.Incase you’re looking for a friendly hometown bank willing to work with you, keep looking because this isn’t it.

Set up new account she messed up my info. I called was sent to a phone line for someone not working left voicemail she said she never received. Essentially had my money held hostage for almost a week. Couldn't even log in online.

Both tellers I dealt with were very rude and unwilling to assist me because I didn't have an account with them. I most certainly will not be banking with them now. Avoid this branch and go to Basalt

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this bank. I've been with them for almost 8 years now. I've had auto loans, savings accounts, checking accounts, etc. Andrea also is awesome and helps me on the fly with things I need.

Horrible bank to work with. They have outdated systems that provide NO alerts regarding your account until it’s too late. Not clear with their policies and don’t have very good security. They will allow your bank to be over drafted for FIFTEEN DAYS before even sending you ONE message to alert you of this. Did I mention that’s horrible?

1 1/2 years ago I tried to get a personal loan for my divorce settlement from Bank of CO. Never once did the person who was "assisting" me in applying for the loan call me back - I had to call him repeated times over the course of three weeks. It was the worst customer service I had ever had at any bank. I have impeccable credit, but I had no collateral after losing everything in the divorce... when I finally got a decision about the loan, it was denied twice. This was even after my parents put their own home up for collateral. In my opinion, Bank of CO low-balled the value of my parents' house so they would not have to approve the loan, and the whole experience left me extremely frustrated. Despite this, I decided to keep my personal accounts with Bank of CO, as I have been a customer since 2005 and wanted to give them another chance. They had been great in the past... but not so anymore. My loan denial experience was during their transition to the new building, and since the new building was completed, the service has continued to be sub-par. It seems to me like the people working there are just putting in their time for the day, and the customers are an inconvenience for them. It has never again felt like the friendly community bank that it always had been. Recently I needed to find bank statements from about five years ago to document some purchased items related to a recent auto insurance claim, and evidently the statements will only go back two years on their website. I won't even waste my time going in there in person to attempt to retrieve the info I need... it would be less stress to just take the loss from the insurance diminishing the coverage than try to get what I need from Bank of CO. I will be leaving Bank of CO in the very near future, and be relieved!

I tried to set up a new account and was told everyone was busy , and to come back in 15 minutes. I came back in 15 minutes - just in time to see the person who was supposed to help me going out the door on a break and there was no one else in that huge new building who could open an account for me. I then tried to make and appointment for the following day so that I would not get shafted again, but was told that was not possible. The customer's time is apparently not very important to the staff at BOC. When I was finally able to get my account set up several days later and waited 3 weeks for checks to arrive. When I called to inquire about them, I was told my checks were never ordered. The rep on the phone then wanted me to give her all of the information that the Bank already has about me, including how to spell my name despite the fact that she was looking at my account and I've been a customer for decades. She said she didn't want to have to switch screens.) The Bank of Colorado has a spanking new building in town, but their customer service has really declined since the move. What happened to all the great people who took care of us so quickly and competently in the old drive through building? The folks in the new building could really learn a lot from them!
