We just bought our third car from Stapp and the experience was once again amazing. Whitney Wolfe was honest, straightforward, and helped us find the vehicle we wanted. Although our trade was damaged by the hail storm in May and went in for repair, Whitney kept us updated about when the new vehicle came in as well as us giving her updates. All of the management team understood the situation and worked with us while the trade was getting fixed. Once everything was finalized with the trade as well as the deal for the new car, Whitney walked us through everything with the new car and answered all our questions. We really enjoy working with Whitney and will always remain her customers for any future purchases.

Let me start by saying I never write reviews but at this point with the lack of accountability and willingness to help I have no choice.
I’ve owned three vehicles with the 2GR-FE engine, and this is the first time I’ve experienced a persistent knocking noise that has plagued me for the past two years. Unfortunately, despite having an extended warranty, Stapp Interstate Toyota has failed to provide the level of care and service that a Toyota owner deserves.
My recent experience with this dealership was particularly frustrating. I brought my vehicle in for the ongoing knocking noise issue, only for them to replace some skid plate clips and tell me the problem was fixed. However, within two minutes of driving away, the noise was back. This has been a consistent pattern over the last two years—every visit ends with them claiming they can’t replicate the issue, but then the noise (the engine knock) returns when I have the car.
Adding to the frustration, the dealership has now suggested sending my car to Wyoming for further inspection, expecting me to cover the gas and any potential damages. Their reasoning? Their technicians supposedly can’t spend enough time test-driving the vehicle to hear the noise. Given their past actions, I seriously doubt they spend more than 10 minutes checking my vehicle during each visit. Last time I test drove with a technician for the knocking noise, and he wasn’t able to hear it. All he did was top off the coolant, which by the way was according to him “very low”, and yet raised no red flag for further inspection. And then just 2 months ago I had white smoke blowing out the back of my car…but I guess it’s all unrelated.
It seems this dealership wants to cling to every penny they can without extending any help to the customer.
There is no care for the customer here, this is a business at the end of the day but safe to say the dealership and Toyota has lost a customer.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a lack of care and accountability from a dealership that represents a brand I used to trust. I expected better from Toyota and certainly from Stapp Interstate Toyota.

I worked with Louis and he was great. He took the time to go over every detail during our test drive on the rav 4. New vehicles seem to sell fast at this Toyota and I wasn’t able to find the one I wanted. Every rav 4 that I wanted had a sell pending.
Get it before it’s gone!

This place is amazing. One of the last, if not the last family owned dealership around. The staff is very friendly, approachable and professional. They don’t ambush you as soon as you pull up. They don’t push anything you don’t want on you. They might not have what you need there but will try and get it for you.
If you’re in the market for a new car or a new to you car, go see them. Ask for Julia or Leslie and they will 100% take care of you with absolutely no pressure at all.

Leslie was absolutely amazing in helping me buy my car. The plan was not to buy a car but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. She walked me through the entire process and answered any questions I had. Everyone was so nice and polite. It was a great experience I won’t forget and am so glad I chose this location. Thank you a million times to Leslie for being absolutely amazing person!

I am very disappointed that Stapp asked for my feedback and did not respond, so now I am sharing my experience to maybe help others think twice about coming here.
I brought my vehicle in because it was exhibiting a shudder at certain speeds. After the technicians reviewed the vehicle I was told that they could not replicate the issue but it “could be” several different issues, however a complete diagnosis was not made. Trusting that this was a Toyota dealership and believing they were the best experienced in the vehicles, I agreed to have most of the items completed - except getting new tires (glad I didn’t pour that extra 2k into the car). After picking up my vehicle and $2800 later it was still shuddering - I asked myself - did they even drive the vehicle? If the shudder was occurring after driving a mile away from the dealership they should have been able to experience it as well. I contacted the dealership for them to look at it again. Then they told me they diagnosed it being a drive shaft and it needed to be tightened. I agreed to have that completed. They then told me after that was done it was still shuddering and that after having a few of their most seasoned technicians look at the vehicle it “could be” the torque converter but they wanted to replace the whole transmission JUST INCASE it wasn’t the torque converter. That work was estimated at 4 - 6k depending on what transmission they put in the vehicle. I was shocked by how uncertain these TOYOTA technicians were in diagnosing my vehicle and had no concern over how much money I was being asked to dump into the vehicle with blind faith that maybe, just maybe, they would get it right this time. I chose not to agree to the work and pulled the vehicle from Stapp. I brought the vehicle to a non dealership mechanic and they were able to confidently diagnose the transmission the first time and gave me a comprehensive diagnosis of what gears were affected by the transmission failing. I was even able to google the shuddering for the Toyota and found the shudder issue related to 2009 4Runners with transmission issues, maybe the Toyota technicians could have used google. I am extremely put off that TOYOTA could not diagnose one of their own vehicles after 3 - THREE attempts, and I am the one paying for it. I would have made some different decisions about the work being done had I known from the beginning that it was a transmission issue. I have lost all trust with Stapp and am appalled that they were ok with having me stuck with a large note after misdiagnosing my vehicle and asking me to pour more money into the vehicle with uncertainty in their diagnosis. I regret buying the oil change package with Stapp as I am hesitant to give a company I do not trust business.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. I had a local dealership bring a vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection and the mechanics missed an issue with my vehicle(tire integrity). It wasn’t noticeable until getting further maintenance done. Very disappointed in the thoroughness of the inspection

Whitney is the absolute best person to work with in any business, but especially with Toyota. Do yourself, your loved ones and your friends a favor a ask for Whitney. You will thank me!
